TRF will put up a £20 cash prize to the winner of this Aintree comp.
Good luck all.
As a bit of fun TRF will put up a £10 Grand National bet to the player in the TRF Group whose aggregate score over Thursday and Friday (both days combined so you need to play both days) is highest.
Get in touch in this thread if any issues with the registering or using the app/website and Craig will let us know I am sure.

April 6, 2026 at 10:06 in reply to: Testers required for racing app – ideal for competition players #1762181We’re playing again today with the Fairyhouse card. I was busy yesterday and forgot to enter until too late! So I can’t see who won but well done whoever you were.
I’m back in again today so come and have a go, etcApril 5, 2026 at 07:26 in reply to: Testers required for racing app – ideal for competition players #1762102Fairyhouse today if anyone wants to take part and add some interest to their Sunday.
Good game yesterday.
‘I’m sure the BHA will be very….. Oh, they won’t even notice this.’
I see the BHA integrity department ordered an inquiry after Tyson’s win (fairly unusual) and the other winners on that day were all referred to the BHA for review. It’ll be interesting to see what the outcomes are.
For me it is unacceptable that this sort of VERY obvious manipulation of performances is allowed to take place. You can argue it is part of the puzzle and has always gone on, etc, etc, but in this case it was a big two fingers up to the authorities from a trainer with previous.
Nothing ‘genius’ about it either btw.
The trainer’s title is a forlorn chase – but I too am surprised he doesn’t target the Scottish National given the prize money on offer and the fact that when he does go after it he seems to have the firepower to win it. Could be correct that he is unwilling to risk them on better ground.

Two ways to play (or combine) – pick all your picks and lock them in for the day and off to B&Q or Tesco OR if you are watching the TV follow the leaderboard and adjust your picks and hot picks according to where you are on the leaderboard.
Craig’s interested in feedback on how the app is in terms of functionality and also any feedback on how to improve the gameplay/scoring, etc, so feel free to let him know the good and the bad so he can modify it accordingly.
Thanks all.
‘He hasn’t had that many opportunities in Grade 1s ‘
Exactly.
He’ll be a different horse next time out you would think. I would draw a line through that.
“I imagine Elliott and Gigginstown will be having a sit down soon …”
Gordon – here, come and join me for a cup of tea would ya
Nicholls has been targeting his horses earlier in the season for many years now since, I suppose, he saw the way things were going with the firepower the Irish were being sent/buying.
Olly Murphy gets plenty winners but struggles a bit to get a roster of horses that can compete at Cheltenham. Skelton can clearly get them ready and I’d see top owners trusting him with them and Pauling seems to be able to get them ready too, hence the McManus patronship. If I was in the bracket just below Henderson I’d definitely be almost inclined to ignore the festival – finding owners willing to do the same might be the tricky part of that plan.
Skelton seems to be the one most able to do both at the minute.
