    The QEII is 1 mile.

There is only ever 2 Group 1 12f races each year for all older horses. The Yorkshire Oaks is for fillies.

Should have added the fillies and mares on champions day is 11.5f

You used to be able to get the video from the racecard, without the need to close one eye.

2:45 video not there yet, again the replays used to be available 1/2 after the race.

Is it still possible to view the replay of a race on the day?

Yes Southwell, the town, is a very nice place sadly we did not get to the racecourse we did spend some time in the workhouse though (those were the hard times).

The current Mrs C says she had her best Italian meal, outside of Italy, in a restaurant in Southwell. Immaterial now as the place has closed down now.

Don’t see why both the Guineas cannot be run on the same day and Epsom have already said that they plan to run the Oaks and Derby on the same day.

Another reasonable discussion turned into a political argument.

    Agree with you Sporting sam.

That statement that says online casinos are an excellent source of a second income is a terrible one to be supporting.

    I never knew that aprading.

A rail strike these days doesn’t affect Royal Ascot. I remember a train strike in the 80s and having to get busses to Ascot I think I got the old 726 to Windsor.
