    Caledon,
Ding Dong! I hear a bell ringing, Were you here a couple of months back posing as a fresh-faced young new gambler from Liverpool?

    Hi,

Do you guys treat all new forum members the same way. All I did was make a quick post and have been berated by most. I state again….

I have no system to sell
I have no website I want you all to rush too
    I am not a tipster

I was looking for like minded people bu I guess that I looked in the wrong place!
If you are not interested in discussing things amicably then why don’t you just ignore any posts I make. Seems futile to just bemoan and begrudge the fact that I wanted to share experiences with some people.

How much would a pro-punter start of with in the ‘bank’ about??

I’m not really much of a gambler, you say you don’t go by ‘ratings/form/tipsters’, there the only things I do go on lol, and ground conditions, what else is there to go on??

    Hi,

As far as a starting bank goes you could write a book with all the theories banded about but for me it would have to be based on what your method produces as a strike rate and then a % stake based on that. This to me is the only logical way.
What else is there to go on…. race type, no. of runners, month of the year… jockeys birthday… there are thousands of other criteria you could use. As I said in a previous post I developed the method I use personally and all I will say is that I didn’t approach the task from the usual perspectives and I used my knowledge of mathematics a lot.

But all the same, welcome to the forum, Caledon. Five years out of the game? You could struggle you know. There’s some smooth hitters on the exchanges these days, some probably members here reading this and rubbing their hands in glee at the prospect of taking you on, and they’ll wipe you out before you know it; unless of course you have a fool-proof system which you might wish to share with us.
Have you been bored with work or living in the lap of luxury?

    Hi Ken,

I have spent the last 3 months re-checking data and running results against my methodology and everything remains status quo. I do not use betting exchanges except on rare occassions and I doubt very much that anyone would welcome me as a target.

I use a method that I have developed myself. I don’t use ratings/form/tipsters [waste of earth space].
I have just been enjoying life really but I need to start earning money again… not exactly the lap of luxury, but comfortable.

    Ginge & Fist

Caledon wrote that he is going to resume his professional gambling , after a break of 5 years.

That means that he hasn’t been gambling, (doesn’t it? :?) but instead has been living the Life Of Riley. Hence the dwindling bank account, because people can’t live on fresh air.

    Gerald

    Hi Gerald,

Glad to see you actually read what I said instead of jumping straight down my throat… I have had better welcomes from some bookmakers I have fleeced than what I have read so far:)

As for ignoring the people who are not doing this for a living…. I wouldn’t be so rude. We all have to start somehwere and if I can help I will.

Everyone will be very sceptical Caledon but welcome.

Will give you the benefit of the doubt for now.

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for the welcome…. but

    Sceptical about what?

I don’t have a system to sell, I don’t offer tips and I certainly wont be giving off the cuff advice to all and sundry.

So I don’t see what there is to be sceptical or indeed give me the benefit of the doubt on. Or is it that you are saying that what I do can’t be done?

As for your comment on my dwindling bank account, with no income for 5 years I guess yours would to! I have used my winnings to a point where they must be replenished… hence the return to old ways.
