diamond harry beat a horse rated 135, in a race that despite the prize was basically rubbish.
yes he won well but he’s got over a stone to find just to get into the race proper and realistically has little time to find it, given BB looks capable of racing to 175+ already.
Only unknown is Karabak, and again he needs to have improved in serious fashion.

MERIGO On the same mark as when 7th in a pipe opener at Carlisle recently which should put him spot on for this race. Has form on soft/heavy going and looks a dour stayer. Is also a progressive, improving sort in a race with lots of dead wood. Should go well whatever the price.
JAUNTY JOURNEY Another mud-lover and also on a good mark of 128, recently moved to the Twiston-Davies yard who are very adept at improving and getting the most out of new recruits. The only concern is that he is quite a young horse at 6 y/o to be tackling a gruelling event like this but is unexposed and should be one of the main protagonists.
