At Last   a winner from my 6 Bolt Action victorious at Chepstow, he remains and exceptional prospect for seasons to come. The others well as yet i havent given up hope on any of them, Away Game has yet to run not sure what has happened there, Cloudy creek, was encouraging at Taunton and will come on for the run, Broken Dream has been disappointing, but looks likely to be able to win before the seasons end, Uncle Wallace, runs today and has a tought task, however the stable has done nothing this season as yet and he IS capable of putting in a bold show today..IMO, Cappadrummin, will win this season i am certain of.

Overall not in profit yet (far from it in fact) but these horses still remain in my notebook for the time being..

UNCLE WALLACE Runs at Leicester on Monday, Bow Strada looks a dangerous opponent but i expect UW to win and win well, before winning more chases

BROKEN DREAM is due to run at Stratford on Sunday in the 3:10 race.

He appears to have a difficult task, as he faces fiori and Java Sea, Providing the going doesn’t get too soft i do think Broken Dream could give these a race and if odds are about 6-1 i will be tempted to have a bet on.

On this occasion only a one point Suggestion

Well im joining this discussion late again (please no one tell me off this time ) The Eclipse was a very very poor Group 1 however all Hawk Wing could do was win it, which he did, IMO it was by far his worst run of the season. The ground definitely didnt suit and i feel given quicker ground i would be surprised if he didnt win another group 1 race. I do feel he is a genuine miler, but on the quicker ground he will get further, and the Breeders Cup is a big possiblity.

I do agree with Esc tho  the Eclipse form in itself is not good reading, in fact neither is the 1000 Guineas form, besides the front 2. Where lets face it HW would have won easily given a fairer draw.

    WHAT A BUZZ

Well she was in the van all the way, and in the end won very very nicely. Unbelievable feeling, believe me simply backing a winner will never feel the same again. This is what its all about. She ran like a star today guts and yes a bit of class. Her 6l 6th to Danehurst less than 2 years ago doesnt seem such a fluke result now..

Im still somewhere above the ceiling, i hope i dont come down for days.

Hope some of you managed to back her i even got 14-1

Kathy i will try to answer for you. I always believed that the CH wood be his last race, however the injury has made sure that it is.

This is great reading keep it up all

I suppose aOB was so quick off the mark, because he wanted to collect his winnings from the 8-1 on Isty pulling up..ASAP..I said to my girlfriend as we were watching the C4 coverage on the way to th epost, that he looked pottery and delicate, and during the race it was clear to see he wasnt right.C.Swan did the right thing imo as all he could have achieved was to injure a great horse.

However why was he allowed to run in the first place, well i wonder how much CHELTENHAM itself had to do with this, they wanted one last Hurrah for the horse whether in victory or defeat and where better than at Cheltenham, and im sorry but anyone who backed him, deserved to lose there money, as sentimentality wins nothing, i personally will remember him between 1997-2000 when he was an incredible horse.

As for this getting personal lark..Well GROW UP basically.

To answer the question tho no i dont believe it was a stitch up, and had it been any other horse no one would give that much of a toss either..2bh, so its testament to the horse that.
