yeah think it’s fair to say some clerk of the courses going reports can be taken with a huge shovel full of salt but he seems genuine and has been praised for his going updates this week
plenty left in the tank I’d say

Keep up the good work!
Andrew Cooper on walking @EpsomRacecourse: "It looks as if we have had the worst of the rain. It should be clearer from now on." #Derby2014
Epsom clerk said on ATR this morning expecting some showers this morning but dry from midday

"5mm rain in last shower @EpsomRacecourse on top of the 1mm earlier. Eased. Off for a walk to assess."I live in surrey as well getting brighter and rain virtually stopped
Well done ginge! You certainly hoovered up the value today

Hi Ginge,
Interested what you do when you can’t get on at the prices…do you wait for betfair liquidity?

Well done Ginge what an easy winner ….Ma Fileule!!

Thanks Ginge for taking the time to respond
Sorry to be a pain ginge… but based on your previous posts i get
42 on the new one and 35 on OC can you show me why we differ? Our conor
18.25-15.4 = 2.85
2.85 * 6 = 17.1
17.1 + 18.25 = 35.35From the Paddy Power Gold Cup meeting (and any ante-post bet from today that will run from that time):
So under the new system:
11 – 7.7 = 3.3
3.3 x 6 = 19.8
19.8 + 11 = 30.8 rounded up to 3131 points @ 12/1 instead of 28 in this case.
Hi Ginge,
Best of Luck todayHaven’t had an interest in the Champion hurdle yet
you say if you were backing today you would back our conor and TNO and save on the fly, what would your stakes today look like at the prices?

I’m a race pass subscriber and they actually gave me a sneak preview a few days ago and i was surprised that there was no form facility as with the original site and a few other things i noticed needed attention.
They said they were gathering all the feedback and will attend to any issues.
Needless to say I was surprised a few days later they went live without sorting these things out!!
On a positive note it’s good to see a refresh.
I think once they sort out these issues and re-introduce previous and next navigation in the race reports it will be a marked improvement, i certainly like the new flags like trainer form etc;
It’s also good to see the racecard comments under each runner on the main race screen rather than just the horse’s name and rating.
yes they seem to have missed some fundamental things like navigating between past races and how the form of a race has worked out!
And they say they hope to have this sorted by Cheltenham surely they shouldn’t have gone live with the new site until this was in place?
Well done ginge!… you seem to be bang in form long may it continue!
TRF down again for me today

Don’t think anyone’s mentioned love/hate yet …very much under the radar on Irish tv RTE currently screening season 4 …previous seasons were on channel 5 over here, yes I know not the usual place to find good tv

As a fan of the wire, sopranos, breaking bad …I’m loving this excellent gritty drama, tight script great story lines and acting.
