Don’t forget Harbour Watch is s’possed to be Hannons best 3 year old miler and he never showed. Chuffed I got on my bike last year and cycled down William Hills for a speculative anti post wager on the then unraced Camelot at 50/1 for the Derby. TBH I was surprised he won today though. Classy horse, jockey and trainer.

Although I backed Harbour Watch to win ante post, I’m relieved to of had a saver on Born To Sea each way at 40/1. I also had a cheeky £5 win double on Maybe and Power at crazy odds last year! My ante post bet of the season was getting on Camelot for the Derby at 50/1… Yeah I’m bragging… Hope one of them comes in, I need a holiday!

M for Montjeu?? M for Maybe!! YES!!
50/1, for Camelot, for the Derby doesn’t look so crazy now!!
I like Maybe for the 1000 Guineas, although I was worried by the proximity of La Collina in her last run.
From the Coventry I took Gatepost, 33/1 compared to Powers 12/1 looks ridiculous, when you re-watch that race and see what Jamie Spencer asked that horse to do.
His dad won the 2000 guineas =)
Bapak Chinta looks a good bet for the Nunthorpe. Charles the Great boosted his form t’other day… No?
Also =) Antepost bet on Nobel Misssion & Born to sea on pedegree B4 they run… Go on then!!

I think Silvestre De Sousa has a half decent chance this year,
and goodluck to him, he’s a very good jockey.

    I have £50 eachway on Reliable man @ 14/1,
although having watched the French Derby a few times,
I was maybe more impressed by the run of Baraan,
who was tailed off by ~15 lengths in last place,
but ended up finishing only ~3 lengths 3rd.
I have Baraan @ 14/1 for the Arc, £50 eachway again.
Being by Dalakhani, and being owned by the Aga Khan,
Baraan should at least run in the Arc.

    Some great stories on here!!
I’ve only recently started dabbling antepost for the classics.
Had £250 eachway on Native Khan @ 25/1 for this year 2000 Guineas.
Glad young Barzelona made me laugh, or maybe I would of cried!!
I had a few quid, before ascot, on Maybe(20/1) & Shumoos(25/1) for next years 1000 guineas.
Also on Noble Mission(33/1) and Born to Sea(40/1) for the 2000 Guineas.
Both unraced but both very well bred, closely related to Frankel and Sea the Stars respectivly.

The last day "Maybe" we saw a filly who can win a classic next year, also Await the Dawn has a decent shot at a couple of group 1’s later in the year. I realy enjoyed all 5 days.

Recital needs good to soft to win this derby and he’s not going to get it.
Native Khan eachway is the shrewdies choice and where the real value lies.

In all seriousness I don’t expect Dandino to win, I just like him alot. I think Midday will win and maybe Dandino has a squeak of getting second place? I hope so anyway.

Dandino has improved with every run and can improve again to take this… Just wait and see.

    Coincidence or fate???

I fancy Blue Bunting for the Oaks, however, i also like to have an e/w on a bigger priced one. I was looking at Sirens Song and noted she beat Wonder of Wonders on her racecourse debut. Now i know AOB’s fillies have improved for their first run but surely Sirens Song is entitled to improve also. So on my way home i’m thinking Sirens Song is my e/w but just then Rock Radio play a new song for the listeners and what’s it called? yes Sirens Song!! Coincidence or fate? It does it for me

    ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve finally committed to a horse – Roderic O’Connor. I’ve had a look through his profile and actually the only trend he breaks is that his debut RPR was extremely low – just 78. Should he win, his debut RPR would be higher only than Kris Kin’s.

I don’t believe for one second any of the opposition are bombproof.

I’ve backed at 30s, obviously with the possibility he’ll miss Epsom altogether, but I think it’s worth the gamble with the field looking downright dreadful.

    DOH!!

I keep seeing this term "lacks class"

    What does that even mean?

    Such an ambiguous statement.
