The old guard always remind me of mob henchmen. The new lot come across like 4th rate direct salespeople who have just failed their audition for "The Apprentice".
As for the Hayley O’Connor fixation, I can’t quite see it myself. She looks like what I imagination the offspring of Tubbs and Edward Tattsyrup from The League of Gentlemen might resemble.March 17, 2012 at 08:14 #397382The old guard always remind me of mob henchmen. March 17, 2012 at 09:18 #397384Sounds like Neal Wilkins, from the description. He appears to be with Apollo Bookmakers now, according to Google.
That’s the chap, thanks. Never heard of Apollo Bookmakers, but I see another Chandler man is with them – Butch Beaton-Brown. The spiel on their welcome page reminds me of Heathorns
April 5, 2012 at 12:18 #399370Did anyone see Lucy Rhodes of William Hill on with RUK Messrs Luck and Willoughby one evening last week? It was embarrassingly bad. Either she has had no TV training or is simply no good, but at one point she was completely lost for words and visiblky blushed. To be fair Luck and Willoughby were very gentle with her, and the director went to a wide shot so you could see Willoughby nodding in agreement with everything she said to apparently try to boost her confidence.
I don’t mind newbies being given a chance but surely live TV is not the right time to be "blooding" them? As an RUK subscriber the viewer deserves better however I do accept William Hill maybe be at fault as they probably assured the RUK production team she was up to the job.
