Don’t see any reason why he would have a particular need to replace him but for shits and giggles, how about Barry Geraghty? Marque name, plenty of experience with JP and may be after a change of scenery after a long partnership with a champion trainer.

I think Mark Walsh should get the gig, at least on the Irish trained horses. He has long been under rated and leads the Irish jockey’s table at the moment.

JP will use a few jockeys. There’s no way that Barry or Fehilly are riding 7 days a week and heading off to Southwell during the summer for a couple of rides like AP has been managing.
Maguire doesn’t ride Cheltenham well enough, Jacob probably likes the situation with Munir and Henderson.

JP has many, many horses and some of them are top class but there are plenty of others whom are in need of an AP special to win a Class 5 at Towcester.
