    SEARCH FOR A SONG 12/1

A chance may stay in Ireland but Weld has a fine record at York in group races with Pale Mimosa a dual winner at the course. And this filly could do something similar to

I like Scope as a stayer to follow and have backed him for this

I am though a little concerned that the trip won’t be long enough and think he wants 2 miles+

The 2m4f of the gold Cup should be right up his alley

Kyprios stayed the 1m6f well at Navan and looks a lightly-races, high-class, progressive, 4yo stayer in the making.

If he runs, he very possibly wins.

I really like Kyprios Ian but I think your “If he runs” might be the salient point. Kid gloves and the Saval Beg before Ascot is what I gathered from the comment after the last race.
I’m going with little fatty Wordsworth 10-1 ew with Paddy Power for the 3 places.

Looks a great bet now Darren. I think she may well beat Strad first time up for him with her fitness. He’s got a small penalty as well. I’m sure there’s more to it than this (rumours about him not being desired for breeding) but hes been kept in training to win back that Gold Cup and anything else is a bonus this year.

I was wrong too! Will probably join Darren on Search for a Song now.

“rumours about him not being desired for breeding”

Stradivarius isn’t very big and likes quick groud. Not what your average NH breeder is looking for.

Fortunately, I didn’t get involved ante-post and I will be backing Kyprios at Leopardstown if he’s any sort of price.

Search For A Song looks the one in this now to me and the OP has a cracking bet at 12s.

I was there yesterday and Stradivarius was the highlight of the day wow absolute paddock pick by far with Thunderous who I put a saver on just on looks.very confident after seeing the small lacklustre looking search for a song. Thunderous is turning into a very nice horse. Also Korker in the last looked an absolute picture. Not one horse not in it’s coat or playing up before hand won yesterday and it goes to show the importance of the parade ring you can’t see the coat properly on the tv :rose:
