This is better than Casela Park! Sascha Stappaerts on Eastern Warrior in a race at Mons, Belgium on Monday.

Not exactly subtle was it – I think even the Lingfield Stewards would have spotted that one.

The title of this thread certainly depicts the outcome of the race Mike………………Blatant Cheating! What concerns me is how much this gal moulds herself on Jamie Spencer! She should really have done a ‘Graham Bradley’ and fell off behind the Trees, mind you she could have got on again and still won! Well spotted!

Dear oh dear, another sore loser talking through large empty pockets

A considerate ride as the horse was quite obviously only 80-85% fit and not fully wound-up. He’ll come on for the run and there’ll l be other days for him later in the season, notably in the big one at Ostend in March

Thank God it wasn’t a 100% fit then Drone as the only thing that would have stopped the horse was a Bullet!

Perhaps her boyfriend suffers from PE and she is just used to stopping riding at critical points!!

Indeed, an eye-catching run and definately one for the notebook. Having now watched the video for a second time it is obvious too that the horse was (in metric as we’re on the continent) 40-45kg over ideal racing weight

    That’s astonishingly bad.

I thought Andrew Thornton was bad on a horse at Lingfield the other day but in retrospect..

Yes that too could be a reason it was blowing snow from the car park afterwards but its Jockey could have been 40-45kg heavier and still won!
Apparently the reason Frankie doesn’t ride through the winter these days is because he’s had enough ‘snow’ throughout the Summer!

A few tracks around the world and that stupid bitch would not be walking out of the racecourse with legs intact.Couldn’t blame someone for bashing the **** out of someone who does that.Well spotted by the ‘smarmy’ betlarge :D Don’t know much about Belgium racing though looks like a bit of a joke and very amatuer after that,a bit like ‘H’

‘Smarmy’ That must have historical connotations down under Jolly. Would it be another Oz word for ‘Tosser’ by any chance?

I’ve translated this from the post race report

" At the end of the race, the Commissioners have asked for explanations and jockey Sacha Stappaerts about the performance gelding EASTERN
WARRIOR (GB). The complainant stated that she had a problem with a stirrup. Commissioners have recorded these explanations and decided to transmit the
case to the Disciplinary Committee of the Jockey Club "

Surely the JC cannot be satisfied with that ?

Yesterday’s 4.10 at Lingfield, and the ride on Faffa caused a lot of waves on some forums. Boycie came in for a lot of stick too for not laying into the jockey – have to admit I have only watched the reply on ATR’s website so can’t really comment on Boycie..

It does seem are very strange ride though and the 10 day ban deserved imo.
