Am on Martello at 50/1 Zark and Cole Harden at 8/1 .
The only other horse I may back is Kilcooley.February 29, 2016 at 20:53 #1235886I’ll be very surprised if Cole Harden wins. Just started backing Martello Tower at around 44 but I’m keeping stakes very, very low, as Thistlecrack looks a good thing to me.
March 3, 2016 at 10:58 #1236145Don’t think it was a weak race at Punchestown. Killultagh Vic would have been favourite for the JLT but for his injury. Thistlecrack would have beaten him all ends up but for terrible luck in running getting block in on the rail coming on to finishing straight. The holes you pick are small and some even filled in now sice Reve De Sivola’s recent run. Saphir De Rheu may be the fly in the ointment but his career has been more about disappointing people rather than surprising them.
March 6, 2016 at 09:52 #1236410I just don’t get it, why isn’t the WH Annie Powers clear target, I mean she’s finished second in the same race, Willie Mullins is quoted that if Annie Power did’t get at run before she would not run in the WH. Now she has run and won. So why is the WH not her supposed target? Instead she goes for the shorter distance race… In my “flat” eyes, it is just wrong
Best Wishes

Because unfortunately faugheen was ruled out and rich wants to win the CH.
In all honesty they also want a win on the board, but also have vroum vroum for the mares. And going up against Thistlecrack would be a mighty challenge for annie.
No chance she would go WH now as she’s been doing fast work.
March 14, 2016 at 22:27 #1237481Thistlecrack looks to have this in the bag but with faster ground surely the Nicholls boys and Cole Harden will be very close!! Greatrex extremely bullish about his charge
March 15, 2016 at 23:09 #1237829I’ve got something to cheer in this race now having had a bet on Sportsbook’s countdown special with Vroum Vroum Mag and Annie Power rolling onto Thistlecrack at 13/1.
Blackbeard to conquer the World
March 15, 2016 at 23:59 #1237853Good price Nath
Shame it won’t catch Cole Harden!!
March 16, 2016 at 00:15 #1237856I think that ground is turning nicely in Cole hardens favour. And kilcooley is the unknown. First three for me are Thistlecrack (just), Cole harden, kilcooley.
On a side note Mullins has missed a trick here with this race. He is running shaneshill over three miles in the RSA. Shaneshill is an awful jumper of a fence but they obviously think he has the stamina for 3 miles so why not use that over hurdles which he is clearly way better at. Anyway too late now
March 16, 2016 at 00:34 #1237859Kilcooley is the best value left in the meeting imo at 20s. Glad he made it after a troubled season.
March 16, 2016 at 19:46 #1238144Having already backed Cole Harden ante post have backed Kilcooley myself Joe at 20/1. Would love to see them trot up the hill together!!
Fingers Crossed
March 17, 2016 at 10:46 #1238330Going for a small bet on Bobs Worth each way. His form hasn’t been great this year but had a fine record over hurdles at Cheltenham, albeit many years ago, and 50-1 for a Gold Cup winner seems worth taking a chance
March 17, 2016 at 13:59 #1238416My banker ( besides Douvan obviously ) of the meeting . I just love everything about this horse .
Why do Clare Balding and Simon Holt insist on pronouncing the horse’s name , Thiss – Til – Crack ,
instead of the leaving the second T silent , as it should be >Gambling Only Pays When You're Winning
March 17, 2016 at 15:38 #1238444Stunning horse, stunning performance
March 17, 2016 at 15:40 #1238445Sensational performance. Wins under hands and heels.
Here’s hoping he can jump a fence!!
March 17, 2016 at 15:43 #1238446Monster performance!!!!
Well done Nath and others!!
March 17, 2016 at 15:46 #1238449I give in, he’s goooood! Impressive.
Best Wishes
