Strange punt on Israr. I can only assume someone has tipped him up. He finds winning very difficult, and hasn’t won at this trip for more than 2 years, and that was in a handicap off 89. Has run well at Ascot, but still 0/3. You would think there’s a strong chance he will be beaten by something more progressive.

I thought that Botanical was the obvious potential improver. He was the original favourite before the move for Israr. Maybe some have been put off by the wide draw?

Well done on your french winner. I’m hoping it’s another little boost for Rouhiya and the general french form.

cheers Stilvi, Botanical is for me the one who could find a bit of improvement, his handicap win at york was good on the eye. Although races mid div i just have a nagging thing in my head that he does pull a little.
But certainly not enough to put people off backing him. Good luck

    Four horse race.
Israr has the form but jockeys tend to find it difficult to get his head in front.
Botanical is improving and his handicap form is n’t far behind listed. But just a slight worry on the ground.
Torito’s third at Newmarket off a mark of 105 was a big step up. Beating those who raced in his group with ease. Improving fast and acts well on the ground.
Astro King doesn’t have the scope to improve of some here, but his length second to Ottoman Fleet is some of the best form… And forget his last time out run over further, held up in a slowly run race.
Backed the latter pair at an average of 4.72 and 16, with savers on the former pair.
