David Nicholls managed to train the 1-2-3 in the God Solution hcap at Catterick but it was his other runner I think we should be keeping an eye on for the future.
Wistman was bought out of David Loders after a couple of runs and showed little for him new stable until yesterday when running an encouraging race in 7th place.<br>Has dropped a stone in the handicap and looks poised to strike if building on this run (although I have been caught out by similarly eyecatching runs of this stables horses in the past.Primus Inter Pares in the Ayr Gold Cup springs to mind).

April 23, 2006 at 19:11 #85938I think Wistman will definitely pop up somewhere at a nice price. The trouble being catching him at the right time! Has been slowly away from the gate in half his races, has pulled hard in a couple and seems to go best with some juice in the ground. Watched him quite closely on friday (was again very slowly away) and he was not really asked a question when he couldn’t get a run around the 3 pole. If he learns to trap better he should win a race or two.
