I have agonised over my third and final selection for the Grand National. Really like to have three more. It’s between Balthazar King, Long Run and Mountainous. Possible ground will be too soft for former if it rains significantly, and too firm for latter if it doesn’t… Henderson’s form has just tipped the scales.

Sh!t this could take a while, ginger just text me to say his fridge was bare, keeps stock low now in case of another power cut and has been forced to walk the 10 miles to the shop and back to buy something to eat. Diabetics (on tablets) have to be careful Nathan. If I was hungry wouldn’t be able to make 10 miles (actually the nearest shop is 6 miles away) due to the tablets bringing blood sugar levels down too low. Hypo then dead. I need my food.
