Quiz Question – Since Richard Johnsons retirement yesterday who is the winningmost NH jockey still active? (Most of their total winners must have come in NH races)

I’m not sure but it does feel an end of an era with McCoy, Geraghty, Walsh and now Johnson no longer riding

In the UK? I would guess Paddy Brennan.

....and you've got to look a long way back for anything else.

    Tom Scudamore 1372
    Brian Hughes 1311
    Paddy Brennan 1310

Sam Twiston-Davies 1157 and Aidan Coleman has 1129 and I can’t think of any others that might be closer, but this was a bit of a random check and those are GB jumps figures so there might be a few Irish to add.

Are we talking about winners in Britain or in Ireland as well? Because Davy Russell must have ridden plenty of winners in both countries.

Correct the Tatling…the majority of Graham Lee’s 1,800+ winners have come in National Hunt races. Although he hasn’t ridden in a National Hunt race this season yet, he won a bumper last season.

Corkallstar – Davy has over 1,500 and hopefully will be able to get back and add a few more.

At current pace Brian Hughes is likely to overtake Scudamore in about a years time.

    Top 3 –
    Lee
    Russell
    Scudamore

    Two points here:

    1. Graham Lee is not currently active in National Hunt so I didn’t include. Fine jockey though over many years.

    2. Assumed that this covered GB based jockeys but OP didn’t actually state that, so no problem with including Davy Russell.
