All bookmakers clearly have different tennis rules/sports rules.
It’s hardly unbelievable. You should be aware of the rules of the company you place the bet.
Skybet – Any match not completed will be void.
Betfair – Any match abandoned before the first set is void. If one set has been completed then the bet would stand (depending on market obviously).
Hardly amazing.

It was on Betfair. Tomljanovic to beat Raducanu 2 sets to 0 at 3.05.
I assume a bet on the correct set score needs to run its course. Even though Tomljanovic would have won in straight sets, I suppose whoever laid the bet could argue it was theoretically possible that Raducanu could have turned the second set around.

Of course the set betting would be voided as she never won 2-0.
A bet on the player to win the match would have been paid out on betfair and voided on skybet.

Sad to see Federer get rolled over by 6-0 in the last set. Looks like age has finally caught up with him but he is still the best I have seen.

He did well to get this far to be fair. He looked awful in first 2 rounds but was improving as it went on.
I love Federer but Djokovic is different class. Djokovic is the greatest of all time without any shadow of a doubt.

Shapovalov blinked at the wrong minute. He played well but inexperience
cost him that 1st set when he had it in the palm of his hand. I don’t think
he’s out of it yet though.

I agree. This is match on. The kids got game on both wings, and a strong serve. And that smash in the first game of the second set was outrageous.

Shapovalov must be kicking himself, he knows he shouldn’t be 2 sets down.
If he can get this set, and he’s fired up after the umpire call on the
last point that gave Djorkovic the set, then it’s back on. It’s good stuff anyway.

Yep you’ve got to hand it to Djokovic. It was decent of him to say it could
have been different with Shapovalov serving for the 1st set and that he was
the better player in the 2nd set. At the end of the day Djokovic got the job
done and that’s why he’s a great champion.
