Having analysed the form of yesterdays 29 length winner Un De Sceaux..Im convinced this horse could be something very special. His winning time was 8.5 secs slower than standard in soft conditions leading from the front in a 3 horse race and giving 7lb to his rivals.Only his 3rd time over fences hes won by 6l,13l,29l and Ruby had trouble restraing him after winning. In his pre wins he hasn’t been off the bridle either.Looking back at Irish champion horses he already compares favourably now regarding times weight and distance.Thurles bythe way has 10 hurdles unlike most Irish and English 2mile hurdle courses ex Fairyhouse.Of course he has to prove himself at grade 1, going left handed and good going but at the moment in soft ground his credentials look fabulous.Which begs the question will Ruby desert Hurricane in the CH Hurdle if Un De Sceaux continues to improve…and is even better on good ground hes going to take some beating.Currently @25s….this horse could be very very overpriced.

    Has to be a contender.

Mullins may want to win another with Hurricane Fly and give UDS more time though.
