    Very sad to have to post this. I just watched the American Grand National on SSR and he took an awful fall at the last. Although he appeared to get up immediately, the racecourse have since tweeted that he fractured his shoulder and had to be euthanised. So, so sad. An absolute cracker of a horse on both the flat and over jumps. RIP 😭

    Just got back from a great day out and read this. Such a favourite of mine. To die so far from home. I’ll miss him so much. RIP

    I can’t describe my feelings this morning on reading this news’ what an absolutely wonderful horse he was and as Moe said for this to happen so far from home is a tragedy.
    RIP Wicklow Brave ..
    racing is a sadder place without you today.

    I think he could of been a star over the fences, such a loss to Racing

    Struggled to finish that article through a blur of tears.
    Every emotion I have ever felt about the death of a racehorse was there in a beautifully written piece that really came from the heart.
