Reference to Gunner B, Henry Cecil’s last Eclipse winner, made me wonder about what happened to his previous trainer, Geoff Toft, after he left the training ranks.
In a similar vein, where did Steve Nesbitt (Ubedizzy) end up?

George Moore was Steve Nesbitts son in law & trains from the same stables in Middleham. I remember him for Morgans Pride, used to watch him run at Haydock when I younger.
On the same subject, does anyone know the whereabouts of Aqaleem? Thought he might take top rank in 1 1/2 mile races this year but I think has yet to reappear. Any ideas?

Aqaleem is still some way from returning to competitive action, trainer Marcus Tregoning has revealed.
Third in last year’s Vodafone Derby, Aqaleem suffered a stress fracture in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood and Tregoning was forced to take his time bringing the colt back to training.
The Hamdan Al Maktoum-owned colt is making slow process and a return to the track appears to be a distant prospect at the moment.
"I’m afraid you won’t be seeing him for some time," the Derby-winning trainer said. "He still has problems and we haven’t quite got him right."
