what will be the best thing about york?
August 5, 2011 at 18:38 #367287Depends who turns up.
A Nassau rematch with an AOB representitive thrown in.
A Nunthorpe with Hoof It V Bated Breath V 2 year old Bapak Chinta.
An International which might be better than the other two Group 1’s, although on the other hand; it could cut up in to the worst of the three.Value Is EverythingAugust 5, 2011 at 23:23 #367304The Nunthorpe, Nassua and International all look incredibly promising races, especially looking forward to the Nunthorpe. Think Kevin Ryan holds the key!

That it
isn’t
the Shergar Cup. That is the best thing I can think of atm.
Jokes aside, I always enjoy the NunthorpeAugust 6, 2011 at 09:21 #367336The ‘Ebor’ itself. My favourite race of the year. Sadly not going to it this year.

great
race on paper, one that the Budapest Bullet could easily spring a mild surprise in.
August 13, 2011 at 21:11 #367965overdose has been knocking on the door so far here and there is a group 1 in him,so its a shame he has been pulled out
August 13, 2011 at 23:26 #367982I can’t wait to see who rides Await the Dawn and Misty for Me from the Ballydoyle yard.
August 14, 2011 at 04:21 #367989Most looking forward to a safe run from Await The Dawn in his Classic Prep, this is O’briens best Classic chance with the Americans so weak and i reckon the nerves for this race and the next 2 months will be at an all time high. A Midday – Misty for Me rematch would have been nice but thats not going to happen now
The other race of interest is the Lowther to see if Gamilati can further strengthen the impression that this years crop of 2 yr old fillies are above average and notably that Godolphin have 2 of those fillies right up there with the best (Gamiliati and Discourse)
August 14, 2011 at 09:55 #368004Sometimes Chris a no good fillie can be a wonderful broodmare.Bet you would not turn down such a fillie if offered her.(bay four year old mare By Sea the Stars ..out of Zarkava never raced)
August 14, 2011 at 10:12 #368009Looking forwards to seeing Bapak Chinta again. Really impressed me at Ascot.
