I rewatched the programme about guitar riffs [sp] last night and am ashamed to say I’d never heard of Link Wray, a terrible omission on my part. I’m also going to dig out my ‘best of the Shadows’ cd. Surprised they didn’t mention Layla in the programme but Eric Clapton was probably too grumpy to be interviewed.
