Sadly, never heard of him until recording the BBC folk programmes last night:-

Would sit very nicely with the likes ‘Black Sheep Boy’ and ‘Lady Came From Baltimore’ from Tim Hardin and more recently the recordings of Greg Brown.

Very much looking forward to getting ‘Blues Run The Game’.

Darn it; must have missed that programme [re watched the programme about Fairport on Friday, though; have seen it several times but seem to get drawn into watching it yet again whenever it’s on].

If you have Virgin you can get the programmes on the weekly playback. It was a documentary style with a few performances thrown in. Jackson C Frank was only on screen for a few seconds in the second part. Here’s another couple of songs with a nice link to his story:-

These Reigning Days – Too Late

These Torbay lads could be the biggest thing to come out of Devon since Muse. They’ve just performed at the Polish Woodstock where they were very well received, and supported Bon Jovi in Italy where this track is the top of the pops.

I’ve been listening to The Dreaming recently [was played on Radio 6 a few weeks back and got me listening to it again]. Very underrated and ahead of it’s time, wasn’t it?

Probably my favourite of her albums. I loved it from the word go. Music critics of the day accused her of ‘over producing’ the album. My favourite track from the album was the Jack Nicholas inspired ‘Get Out Of my House’

Currently (It changes all the time.) my favourite KB track is probably ‘Hello Earth’.

… or is it ‘Blow Away’? :?
