Tremendous days racing today under the April skies.
Lingfield receiving most of the credit, but the unsung hero’s at Musselburgh deserve a huge mention as well. What a great job they do on the prize money front in difficult times. Produced proper fast flat racing ground as well.
Irish National on Monday, Guineas, Chester and Dante on the way.
Too good.

April 21, 2014 at 09:21 #476375I went to Musselburgh for the first time in December 2012 and despite being from England
I was made to feel warmly welcome there. The only other time this happened was when I went to Market Rasen a few years ago, however the majority of racecourses could do a lot better at appreciating their customers.May 4, 2014 at 13:11 #478023Mighty Yar, back in a handicap, better ground and a long straight and that proved just the job.
I’d be thinking Ebor after that.

"The Ebor could be a possibility but we’ll just see, he ran over a mile-six at Nottingham and it seemed too far."
The way he finished todays race was like last year doing his best work at the end and still as green as a snooker table. I would be incline to put a slight line through the Nottingham race regards distance and think he would be fine over it given time.
