Us UK residents cant vote for her Gord but if you fly your private jet over to Ireland and nab thehorsesmouth landline and put the thing on repeat call I reckon we could clear up on the 50/1………

Ah sh!t that wouldn’t work anyway cos we would only get the 12 points. We need more TRF members from Azerbaijan, Moldova, Estonia, Armenia etc……. :|

Pleased that Dundonnell won as he did today, not a great lot of depth in competition but he was giving away a fair bit of weight and was running in patches but his class got him through.

I presume ‘Bonnie’ was Britain’s Eurovision hope this year. Somebody told me you beat us  And you gave us a measly ‘un point’

Coronation Cup looks a banker for St Nicholas Abbey. He was at his best in Dubai in March beating a very good horse in Gentildonna, how fit the Japanese horse was I wouldn’t know but it showed SNA was alive and well. This race at Epsom has seen him at his best and the level of opposing enemies doesn’t look too strong. I’ve took a bit now as the race could cut up and see him shorten if he stays around the same price will go in again nearer the day.

Delighted for Richard Hughes in breaking his classic duck this season in spectacular style with a double. Although my horse Toronado is not running today I’ll be cheering on Richard on Mars as I know the Derby is the one race Hughesie would dearly love to win.

I’m not very good at these handicap races and tend to only focus on the Group races(not very good at them either) but one horse I’ve been keeping an eye on is Poole Harbour, probably because he runs in the same colours as Canford did . However as a 4 year old this one has been a tad unlucky not to get on the score sheet, was very well supported last time out 2nd in photo and Hannon keeps saying there is a win in him. He’s up 5 lbs but with Moore onboard and running at Windsor has home advantage. Confidences isn’t overly high as I aint got much of a clue on tonight’s opponents so stake is only very small.

    7.30 Windsor – POOLE HARBOUR 4/1 £4.00 win

    -£28.00

Another eyecatching run I thought. I don’t know if it would of made any difference but Moore wasn’t exactly heavy handed on him and pushed out hands and heels. Wokingham maybe? Poole Harbour I’ll get you next time baby……….

Toronado’s owner has bought the French Guineas winner Style V and it looks unlikely that the horse will run in the St James Palace stakes so I’ve dedcided to sign up to racebets and take the 3/1 on offer about my horse.

St James Palace Stakes – TORONADO 3/1 £10.00 win

My wife wanted me to pop up the shop to get in a bottle of wine so I thought I’d take a de-tour and shoot into Laddies to take in a few races as I knew Edge of Hannon’s was running around that time, slow out the gates again but no excuses as he had a clear run and an extra furlong this time around. Anyway on one of the screens was some price boost on Al Kazeem 5/2 I was looking at backing it this morning at 7/4 only thing that stopped me was some comments about firm ground being a negative, since then seeing the forecast for a bit of rain so thought it a bonus and put the tenner on. Feeling a bit chuffed with myself having nicked a few extra pennys if he wins walked home with a bit of a swagger only to get through the door to my wife with a face on saying ‘WHERE’S MY WINE’………..

Prince Of Wales Stakes – AL KAZEEM 5/2 £10.00 win Ladbrokes

Coral have an Animal Kingdom offer of 2/1 online so even although I’m not ultra confident not sure he’ll be suited by conditions the price was too difficult to turn down as he certainly has a lot of class about him.

Toronado ran fantastic in defeat and I believe will get better still and over longer distances, he’s cost me the majority of my P/L but I’m still a believer. Cape Peron looks a potential Group 1 horse so I’ve had an each/way bet on him as couldn’t believe the price of 9/1.

Brittannia – CAPE PERON 9/1 £5.00 Each/Way Paddy Power 1/4 odds 1,2,3,4 (bog) non runner money back

    -£68.00

I just double checked this bet and Paddy have nicely change the place terms to 6 but I’m only focusing on the win bit.

Al Kazeem or as I call him Al Kazoooooooom winning yesterday has reduced arrears a little. Just the above bet today although I think Van Der Neer has a chance at 12’s with the step up in distance.
