Gutted that Toronado is now out of the Breeders Cup but on the bright side he will be back as a four old next year and will be even bigger, stronger, faster, better and hopefully will be able to breath aswell…..

October 28, 2013 at 11:52 #456473I’m planning on putting the remainder of my profit all on the Fugue she’ll destroy them but does anyone know which race she will be taking in?

Word from Gosden a few weeks back was that they were leaning towards the Turf Nath, not confirmed though.
October 28, 2013 at 12:39 #456477Thanks boz, I’ll hold tight. Hope it is the turf should get a bigger price and faster pace for her to travel behind and pick um off one by one leaving them for dead before crossing the line in 1st place on the bridle.

Glad to be of service squire
Hope she does the business for you.November 3, 2013 at 11:22 #457181That’s the end for me for another year. Although finishing as I started with £0.00 I cant complain as I’ve really enjoyed the flat season. Toronado cost me a bundled with not running in the Derby or Breeders Cup and defeats in the Guineas and Royal Ascot but made my highlight of the year at Goodwood in the Sussex I told Hughes exactly what to do in the parade ring and lost my voice cheering him on past his old foe Dawn Approach.
I’ve mapped his route out for next year, depending on him showing the same level of speed I think they will stick to the mile.

December 3, 2013 at 09:40 #460662Season 4
Kicking off with a bet which should give interest for the whole campaign. The trainers title is a 2 horse race and my alliance is firmly with camp Hannon at 6/4. A strong older team and plenty of a better pedigree of two year olds bought to go to war with. O’Brien has a very good hand and it could go the distance. Richard Hughes will add the jockeys title for a third successive year but at the odds and with the unknown regarding injury’s at any time will leave that alone.
Champion Trainer – RICHARD HANNON JNR 6/4 Corals £15.00

January 22, 2014 at 09:38 #465556I was impressed enough with La Napoule on debut about 10 days ago to part with a fiver today. She travelled well over a mile after a slow start and getting caught behind horses, ran on well enough when a gap appeared but the winner a Johnston horse with a few races experience had already flown. If she comes on for the race and drop in trip should go close.
2.00 Lingfield – LA NAPOULE 7/4 betvictor (bog) £5.00

January 28, 2014 at 20:16 #466375The likelihood is that Treve will race no more then about 4 times next season with defending the Arc being the main target, if she improves as a four year old and we get a quicker pace then she could be even better suited to it then the plod of last season’s Arc win so I have gone in a few quid for distance bet in what could be her last race of her career they will be looking to put up another big performance.
Arc – TREVE 9/1 to win by 2 lengths or more £5.00 9/1 Racebets
-£25.00

February 15, 2014 at 12:23 #468129I was toying with the idea of betting Trêve to win 3 group 1 races in the up coming season but on reflection the 5/2 for this lightly raced individual is not great value considering the goal will be defending her Arc title so it could well and would be no surprise that she has another light campaign. Now the 3 group 1 victory’s are priced up at 5/2 whereas she is 4’s just for the Arc alone. Because she is so lightly raced there is even more room for improvement and unless she gets injured or something from another planet like Australia turns out to be the best horse O’Brien has ever trained she will go off 4/7 fav.
Arc – TREVE 4/1 £10.00 Racebets
-35.00

March 13, 2014 at 11:05 #471447I’m going to top up my Flat bets on Treve. I still think these racebets offers are wrong and expect the horse to be just as good as a 4 year old with only injury being the question mark there is no certs in racing and even if she gets there she still has to win but all that said the prices are still too big. With the race being so far away small stakes is my limit for reasons above.

March 21, 2014 at 17:11 #472781I think 7/4 is a very good price on Ertijaal for tomorrow it’s not quite 20/1(boz
) but that was never going to be the price anyway and I hope the person who gave you it doesnt get the boot. if drawn low to middle would of been nearer odds on. I think the 7f is ideal.Spring Cup – ERTIJAAL 7/4 Coral £10.00 win
