Darragh Keenan has his only ride of the day here and when it comes to Job jockeys, he is one of the best. This horse has run just a couple of times for Jayne Chappel Hyam and ran in a class one on debut. Keenan has won at Windsor at 50/1 and on the all weather at 100/1 this year and often rides for David Evans. He was the fall guy when Rohaan didn’t run to his merits even though the horse returned lame.
Best treated by this trip and has a clear chance here. Has won at woodbine.

Meets crimson king on about ten pounds better terms than when 2 lengths in front of that rival at lingfield.
HAKU the favourite is raised 7lbs for his latest win and dispenses with the seven pound claimer which puts him a stone wrong here. He does though has the assistance of like Morris and is on a winning run but has not won here.
Bugle Major runs off a career low mark and although still a maiden has a great opportunity to break his duck on these terms…. Correction Bugle Major has three recorded wins in France at Longchamp, Deauville and Longchamp….
Crimson king is the only course and distance winner in the field and down to a winning mark is the big threat here but Archie Watson’s runner has Taylor fisher on board and the five pound claim might just swing things in bugle Major’s favour.

I had a go in the first but it didn’t work out at wolves. But,.. if you take a look at my soul selection thread you’ll see we are in agreement about the last race…. And it is also an Alexander selection.I think Lihou could be a class above Sam so fingers crossed for our choice
I got 15/8 with Paddy Power.
Amor De Mi Vida has a wide draw but if she gets a good start she could hang on for a place and the forecast..good luck Sam.. JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...I totally got it wrong with Lihou tonight Sam but take another look at the run of Corinthia Knight if you haven’t already.
Considering this was a 5f dash CK managed to edge his way over to the rail from draw 11 got tailed off at one stage and yet somehow managed to finish running on with something of a flourish to be placed 6th only 3 lengths and a bit lengths behind the winner.
Bring a bit of a Pontefract specialist especially with Hollie Doyle on board I think he is primed to strike again very soon and if he runs again at Wolverhampton with a low draw he could come in at double figures.
So interesting to keep an eye on what he does next
