Well done Sam nice treble and Tricast at Southwell yesterday.
Attrazione was one of my notebook horses but I totally missed her yesterday, you worked out that tricast perfectly. :good: Jac

    Hi Triptych,
You’ll also notice I got Beattie Is Back in the last at wolves.
It would/will be the great man’s birthday in a few day time and I was lucky enough to watch him as a boy and to have a pint with him a few years back. Probably one of the greatest footballers England has produced. Honest tough and a mountain of a man. His horse is run for the Kevin Beattie foundation by Richard Fahey and he did them proud last night. Fitting that it came on the same evening as the world cup semi final. A brilliant guy and like every genius, only human.

Happy valley of all places for a long range selection.

    11.45
    MELBOURNE HALL
    Win
In good form recently and looks to build on place and win in last two runs.
Matt Chadwick regular jockey is replaced by Angus Chung who holds a hefty claim. Drawn in stall 3.
    ACT OF FAITH
    Each way
    (Zac Purton)
Didn’t run brilliantly at the other track on debut but the booking suggests that drawn alongside Melbourne Hall, he is not without talent.
The these two are most likely to provide the pace angle and hopefully they’ll be strong enough to get home first.

A very taking winner from Zac Purton in act of faith won eased down after a good rail ride, pulled out and surged clear…..
Back to bread and butter and reeceltic at internationally renowned racecourse leafy lingfield has an outside chance here.
But he is an Alexander selection and has a few things going for him.
A dual course and distance winner, negative is the jockey booking. The apprentice hasn’t won since October, so hopefully he can grasp this chance with both hands as he has good placed form.
    Lingfield 1220
    REECELTIC
    Win

What a great story Sam and to get to meet your hero and share a drink..priceless. :good:

How appropriate that the horse carrying his name came home last night on the evening of the World Cup Semi Final. What a great tribute to a great man.

Nice 5=1 shot too and again appropriate that Busby won the first. That would have been a nice footy double.

Thanks for sharing that :rose: Jac

    Lingfield
    JUSTCALLMEPETE
    Win
Can frank the beattie is back form now.
They hampered each other in their previous encounter at wolves but both ran on well in eye-catching style.

    Lingfield 1.10

    MISS DOLLY ROCKER
Has a chance here just beaten by perdika and that runner has gone on to complete a four timer.
Four other runners here have collaborative form one way or another in three different meetings and they have among their number a short priced favourite.
MISS DOLLY ROCKER is taken to beat them all in a banker trifecta they are
    MISS DOLLY ROCKER
    Banker trifecta
    To beat
    City of York
    Congesbury
    Maso beastie
    Saratoga spirit

    MISS DOLLY ROCKER
    Win
A banker trifecta is just 12 lines and represents decent value if you get it right!!! Easier said than done of course…..

Reeceltic was given a dubious ride in the opener and defeat was wrenched from the jaws of what really ought to have been a very easy win. Never mind…..

    Land of eagles
    Win
    Very good chance.
    *******
No cigar, but land of eagles ran a race full of promise to finish third.
Hit the bar with the 1.10 trifecta three horses in the shake up again and a great ride by Will Buick stole the win part of the race by a narrow margin. I hope the jockey who rode reeceltic was watching.

    Kempton 4.30

    SAINT GEORGE
    CLAN CHIEFTAIN
    Both
    Win
They do not have to be world beaters to win on debut in this company. Well bred to get the distance and both with capable relatives.
Both nice prices. The rest all look ordinary even with experience.

    KEMPTON 6pm
    HICKORY
    Win.
Defied a mamouth absence following opening grade 4 stakes win to land runaway win here in October. Won with plenty in hand and jockey even had time to talk to other jockey as he passed him.
Raced out wide and did not need the cutaway.
Only bounce will stop this runner up in grade again to class five. Remains unbeaten so now is the best time to catch this runner.

Rare quality on show in the form of HICKORY.
Won very easily and jockey spent a lot of time looking around early doors allowing other horses a soft lead. Value for lots more virtually pulled up after gently being eased down!!! Sp 11/8 Real price 30/100.

    Kempton 6.30
    SARAH’S VERSE
    Each way
Is a free bet in the last, not expecting this one to win or even place but well treated and unexposed top weight here.

Great shout with Just Call Me Pete Sam :good: franking that Beattie Is Back form.

Noticed Richard Hannon got Rattling home in the 6.30 Kempton last night at a decent price..My competition Nap Pocket The Profit beat him into 5th place at Wolverhampton on Saturday he probably didn’t like the Tapeta.

Boughey brings out Pocket The Packet tomorrow to continue his winning run. Should have run at Newcastle on Saturday.

Carry on the good work Sam..Jac :rose:

    Thank you Triptych.
Looks like very slim pickings today and nothing leaps out like it did yesterday.
A nice winner in Hickory who appears to have had a pacemaker laid on for him is that legal?
    Worked anyway.

Uther Pendragon was turning out again sharply after a three day turnaround and was second in this last year.
    Close no cigar.
