    With leaders, led 9th, drew clear from 13th, mistake 3 out, still 12 lengths up last, weakened uphill and collared final strides (tchd 25-1 in places)

    I recall that one. Had a little e/w on Maximize and nearing the home turn just hoped he might overhaul a couple in front of him to reach the frame. Was desperately sorry for Merchants Friend
