    Two horses lost their lives in the first race at Ayr … Percutant (broken hind leg) and Freschezza (fatal leg injury). Officials, trainers and jockeys now looking at the course …
    Very sad.

    Oh no, what a terrible shame. Condolenses to all connections. It is the last thing the sport needs after the losses at Fairyhouse on Monday.

    Dium Mac was also lost when falling in the first race at Sedgefield – he had clearly broken a leg and the commentator said he was galloping on OK – poor horse he was trying to gallop and I hope he was soon put out of his misery. RIP.

    Thats what happened to Good Line at Market Rasen; probably the worse thing that can happen to both the horse and it’s connections.

    :( Yes I agree, I think it must be one of the most distressing things for all concerned.
