Odds on that we’ll have to have a passport before too long I should think, Dazza.

But I’ve been talking to a man who knows a man and there might be ways around this. Ya get me

The ‘way round it’ is called getting a fking vaccine. It’s your choice but choices have consequences. If those consequences are you not being able to do certain things that’s not my problem.

Nobody is suggesting that it is your problem, Dicky. You never post anything positive or original, you just tend to look for posts that you can have a good squabble about. You do love a bicker, do you not?

IACGMOOH just started so… BFN :bye:

    Spot on Richard. :good:
Richard is the one being “positive” about this issue, Tank. Not you.
He’s had his jabs like (thankfully) the vast majority of us.

You once said you’re not going to be a guinea pig.
Surely there’s been enough people having a jab without any problems now?
Indeed, there’s far more unvaccinated people than vaccinated in hospital with severe covid.
You know now that getting a jab is safer for you and also helps protect everyone else.
Just get the jab mate and stop this intransigence. :rose:

Vaccines will almost certainly keep you out of intensive care says a doctor:

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/nov/21/icu-is-full-of-the-unvaccinated-my-patience-with-them-is-wearing-thin

Personally I’d like those beds freed up for those who don’t have the choice of whether to be there or not. No other illnesses and diseases have stopped because of covid.

You are right on one thing though, I do enjoy bickering. I find it therapeutic. It’s one of the reasons forums exist. It does however take at least two to bicker, I can’t do it by myself.

Anyway, seeing as me and Ginger agree on something, I’m off to prepare for the apocalypse.

I’ve had THREE Covid jabs now and tbf it’s not enough – I want more.

My idea of a cracking evening is getting a record-breaking fourth jab in front of an anti-vaxxer I am visiting on their ventilator in a Covid intensive care unit.

Quite possibly while eating a King Prawn Pathia with Pilau Rice.

It’s a crisp, sunny morning and I’m about to embark on a march across Knavesmire to the five-star portakabins in Tesco’s car park for my booster jab

Will it be Astra, Pfizer or Moderna? Oooh, I’m on tenterhooks

Afterwards – assuming I’m still alive – a pint of J2O ‘n’ Soda in the Fox and Roman (not a Wetherspoons unfortunately) and a playful scrunch through the fallen golden leaves around the Railway Pond

Simple pleasures, the perfect day :good:

Sounds pretty bloody good to me.

I had two Pfizers, but it was a Moderna for the hat-trick last time out.

    Enjoy!

Just trying to work out why Ian’s post was reported but it’s obvious now. No peshwari naan with his curry, disgraceful.

I’ve been reported – I assume it’s because of my choice of curry.

Chicken Ceylon with chapatis or tandoori roti breads – better now?

    Snap!

We are on the same page simultaneously, Richard!

You’re absolutely right – a man who is tired of Peshwari Nan is tired of life.

“All about choice, people, all about choice. Not really difficult to understand”.

    Yes all about choice Tank.
    ,
Choice between having a vaccine that would make you safer and help protect others.

    Or…

Not having the vaccine for no reasonable reason.

Yes, it is extremely difficult to understand.

I believe in Austria the vaccine will be mandatory from February onwards. We’re not at that stage yet, but after reading that 2.7 million young Londoners not yet vaccinated, could yet be a probability. Although don’t know how it will be enforced.

I am against vaccine passports there is no scientific evidence for them after all these governments say they follow the science well they not when it comes to domestic passports.

We all saw the shambles of Welsh government when won vote by 1 person that mp not able to log in

There is no exit plans for vaccine passports in Wales and Scotland because not got one

People vocal on social media like Adam Brooks
Who pro vaccine but against these passports because of business reasons

If look at hospitality sector with these passports in place in Europe they are down 20 percent in terms of there business. so got hit by lockdown and now being hit by these passports where I said at the top there is no scientific evidence for them to be in use.

I am pro vaccine but am anti vaccine passports
    For reasons above

Everyone is “anti vaccine passports” Darren, even those who’ve brought in those vaccine passports. But needs must.

You say about “If look at hospitality sector with these passports in place in Europe they are down 20 percent in terms of there business. so got hit by lockdown and now being hit by these passports”…

…Am sure those who’ve made the decision in Europe would argue it is not a choice between “down 20%” or down nothing… It is instead a choice of down 20% or down 100% (ie those businesses you’re so concerned about not being able to open up at all had vaccine passports not been introduced).

One way or another those who have not been vaccinated need to be kept away from what could be super spreader areas. Therefore it is a choice between vaccination passports or another full lockdown for everyone.

Personally, I believe vaccine passports are necessary for much of mainland Europe. However, I think getting ahead of the curve in vaccinations means it is not (at least not yet) necessary in Britain – despite Wales and Scotland’s decisions.

If only everyone got vaccinated when they had their first chance to do so.
