Hitler would have banned or restricted the internet as it is restricted in China. By getting jabbed I am less likely to get Covid, or less seriously if I do. Hence I would be less likely to transmit it to others.

    YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE
it’s just you have dug a deep
grave for yourself and find it embarrassing to crawl out.

Go back to licking ID’s arse, the only thing you are good at these days, sadly.

Just accept that not everyone has the same opinion as you and move on. Though I do realize that will not be easy for a control freak like you

Keep yourself warm Tank and well isolated !

The most popular theory of how the plague ended is through the implementation of quarantines. The uninfected would typically remain in their homes and only leave when it was necessary, while those who could afford to do so would leave the more densely populated areas and live in greater isolation.

To be frank and honest I do look up to ‘there is only one’
and believe every single person on this forum could learn greatly from his very simple outlook and philosophy on life.

My first lesson starts on Saturday. One biscuit not two – a cup of black coffee – optional form book – result : happiness.

That is definitely one of the saddest things I’ve ever read on this forum, and coming from a once-great poster makes it even sadder. Please get well soon

Seriously close to tears about the totally unwarranted respect you are giving to someone who has no real respect for anyone except himself. That’s why he’s ended up on his own (nap)

I will be seeing my doctor in the morning – believe you are on the pulse of things. As a gratitude allow me to leave you with a little Dylan

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you my son, with so much afore your sight,
Look not on the sundial to change your course.
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Get vaccinated and change quickly your plight

    Almost right

Do not go gentle into that good night,
    Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light

You don’t need to admit you’ve done it on TRF Tank, but please get jabbed and stay safe.
You know it makes sense. :rose:

    The situation is rapidly changing.

Covid passports won’t work unless everyone does it, and I think is a very bad idea. Personally I can’t see big business enforcing this. Working at a large supermarket, I was considered essential keyworkers and was given proof of that if challenged while travelling to and from work but never was. When we’re all under lockdown we we’re by the government allowed out for exercise and shopping for essentials. At first people had to queue to get in as they only allowed so many, then they started to let in more but the situation and advice from the government stayed the same. Business as took a battering in the last year, that to not allow the unvaccinated or those with no vaccine passport in will hurt them financially.

Agreed RR, I think both Wales and Scotland have acted too soon. However, if (and only IF) infections and deaths get to a level similar to some parts of mainland Europe; then letting in the unvaccinated will be impossible without high risk of the NHS being totally overwhelmed this Winter… And if getting that bad it will be a choice between a full lockdown for everyone OR vaccine passports to at least allow 80%+ of the public to shop. ie Surely vaccine passports are better financially for shops than no customers at all?

We must remember that this is a worldwide pandemic and although the take up of the jab is excellent in this country, we won’t be entirely safe until the world is vaccinated or at least a high percentage of it. So this virus could be with us for years. Hopefully though like Spanish flu in the early twentieth century it might disappear on it’s own.

On the subject of mask wearing, it doesn’t stop you from catching covid by itself just from spreading it. Keeping social distancing thus though. It’s worked in the past on disease like the PLAQUE in Eyam.
