Well done Sarge and VtC.
The more I know the less I understand.
March 10, 2026 at 15:38 #1758068“Jagwar didn’t look like he fancied that much. Probably not the first or last time”
Definitely agree, TinMan. He looks a definite dodge pot.
March 10, 2026 at 15:40 #1758069He’s soft isn’t he , he s one for bossing a small field
March 10, 2026 at 15:40 #1758070Clearly a talented boy but he came there with momentum after the last and just looked like he didn’t want to pass to me when he got close to the winner. Headgear maybe? He was looking around all over the place
March 10, 2026 at 15:40 #1758071wd winners
March 10, 2026 at 15:42 #1758072HDLG, horror rides are Jonjo Jr’s speciality. I’ve seen many a better amateur.
March 10, 2026 at 15:43 #1758073Well they weren’t messing about with the winner , breathing op , tongue tie , head gear , Jonjo must have emptied his tack room …
March 10, 2026 at 15:45 #1758075I’ve given up trying to defend him … Richie is solid , not flash but he rode a perfect race there , I’m up for the day so I’ll just let the rest of the bets run , no more being added
March 10, 2026 at 15:49 #1758078Thanks guys, meant a lot that one
March 10, 2026 at 15:55 #1758088There’s no better place to get a antepost in than the festival
March 10, 2026 at 16:29 #1758124Agree with the comments about Jagwar. How good would he be if a) he could jump and b) he had a better attitude?
Not been a bad day but him and Kopek are off my Christmas card list!
March 10, 2026 at 16:32 #1758126To be fair I reckon they’ll be some good days ahead for Kopek , wouldn’t be sure about Jagwar
March 10, 2026 at 16:34 #1758128Agree HDLG. I will let this festival take care of itself first but I can see myself backing Kopek for next year’s Champion Chase. I think he would have won with a better jump at the last. He ran well but I think his lack of chasing experience did find him out today.

Not sure what he did wrong there. Carrying 12 stone on good ground over 3 miles the horse finished mid div and not good enough, and I didn’t fancy him for this race anyway regardless of who was on top.
