It’s all about Holywell for me too. He’s still very well handicapped on any of his Cheltenham form. His Ultima win (clear with well-treated Ma Filleule, ahead of Kim Muir winner The Package) gives him a great chance. Not to mention the Gold Cup run!
Many of the novices could get involved with a clear round. Out Sam is not the most straightforward horse, so I wouldn’t be confident of a fluent display from him. I liked Kruzhlinin at first given the ex-McCain angle, but he’s up to a mark that he struggled on even at the best of times for that yard.
As much as I dislike The Young Master in general, he does have good claims on 149. Ballykan was a big eyecatcher in the Racing Post Chase and I could see him getting involved if he can sharpen up his fitness and jumping.
