Yeah, right.

Where America leads, others will follow. The planet is well and truly screwed.
February 12, 2026 at 22:29 #1754405I saw that on instagram not long ago. Why is he being allowed to do this?
February 12, 2026 at 22:49 #1754407Err because he’s the President.
There will be a legal challenge though.
February 13, 2026 at 03:34 #1754441The law doesn’t apply to Trump.
February 13, 2026 at 06:19 #1754444He’s losing it fast!
I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysFebruary 13, 2026 at 20:38 #1754517To be fair to Trump he’s always been a sceptic. So wouldn’t say losing it fast. Just very selfish. On the one hand you wish he wasn’t here but on the other wish he could live and suffer the future effects of global warming.
February 14, 2026 at 05:11 #1754554Trump putting money before the future of the planet , am I surprised … Nope
February 14, 2026 at 09:22 #1754569Great speech by Rubio, now that was a leaders speech, can’t wait now for our offering in Munich
March 7, 2026 at 06:53 #1757400So the man who is always banging on about democracy wants to hand pick the next leader of Iran. Did someone say “hypocrisy”?
🤔
March 7, 2026 at 07:09 #1757402Also supposed non-released documents due to human “error” now released by the DoJ with Trump implicated in these. Released during one of the biggest wave of attacks on Iran.
Even Andrew hasn’t been in the news for a week.
March 17, 2026 at 06:31 #1760276Meanwhile…
People really need to wake up to the facts: Trump is turning the US into an autocracy, much as others have done around the globe. Of course, it’s difficult for people to disabuse themselves of the long-held belief that “USA = Democracy” but that idea needs to be consigned to the bin while the current regime is in charge.
And let’s not forget that both Reform and the Conservatives would do something similar here if they ever won a general election; even a supposedly “Labour” party has introduced policies straight out of the far right playbook.
Democracy is dying; only the voters can save it.
March 17, 2026 at 07:40 #1760277He can’t understand why Starmer doesn’t just join him in his latest war. No comprehension about how a democracy works.
March 17, 2026 at 08:22 #1760281I believe and obviously hope that Trump has finally blown it big time with this most ill-judged of ill-judged wars. He’s dug himself into a deep hole and is losing support within both his ‘allies’ and the American public: the forthcoming mid-term elections are likely to be a disaster, particularly if the mooted ‘boots on the ground’ in Iran is implemented, as I can’t see the American public having much truck with that.
As for naval confrontations in ‘bottleneck’ straits, Trump, his acolytes and his advisors would do well to read-up on the appalling Dardanelles Campaign in WW1

And for protective convoys in general this:

March 18, 2026 at 15:17 #1760370I take it that everyone has seen yesterday’s clip of Trump referring to Gavin Newsom as “the President Of The United States” by now.
The man is clearly displaying signs of senility – he shouldn’t be anywhere near any official position, let alone the second most powerful office in the world (after the Prime Minister of Israel, apparently).
March 18, 2026 at 17:13 #1760378As someone with a grandson who has just been diagnosed as dyslexic ( after overcoming it and getting into university) I’m disgusted by Trumps comments on Newsom. Especially as I bet he doesn’t even know what dyslexia is and as from what I’ve heard there are no books in the White House these days so Trump himself wouldn’t even know if he himself was dyslexic. What a vile man he is. I don’t actually think he’s senile because he’s no different to the man who first stood for election. How the Republicans still chose him after he had eluded to a woman reporter being on her period is beyond me. That incident alone should have ended his political aspirations and since then he has singled out female reporters.

As with right wing politicians here, they are only interested in ‘protecting women’ if there are foreigners, brown people or trans people involved.
