What an odious cretin the current President is:

I have never used Twitter/X, but I’m sorely tempted to sign up when Trump pops his clogs, purely to throw this quote back to this moron:

“Laura Loomer, a far-right activist and conspiracy theorist, wrote on X: “President Trump says what everyone is thinking. He’s right. We shouldn’t be sad when bad people die.””

I suppose they’re lucky that Farage isn’t in charge: the goon squad would have been sent over by now.

Out of nowhere, Melania Trump makes a statement on Epstein. Surely we’re not at the point where we need to bring up Epstein to distract from the war that was started to distract from Epstein. Somebody somewhere must have got word of something about to happen. Unless someone is very confident all the incriminating stuff is gone for good.

I heard the song “Mrs Robinson” in the pub earlier today. It famously name checks the great Joe DiMaggio (“Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio, A nation turns its lonely eyes to you”).

Given everything going on in the world, I couldn’t help but think of Paul Simon’s words after the “Yankee Clipper” died in 1999:

“In these days of Presidential transgressions…we grieve for Joe DiMaggio and mourn the loss of his grace and dignity, his fierce sense of privacy…and the power of his silence.”

The man is unfit for office he needs removing and those around him should be thinking this.

The more I know the less I understand.

Even for Trump the Jesus depiction is bizarre , he’s offended his Magna base and the ” I’m a doctor ” explanation is absolute bollocks , he’s going to take a hell of a beating in Nov , one even he will struggle to argue/explain away…

Moehat, I am with you all the way. Trump is an absolute moron. When 7 years of age my son was diagnosed to be dyslexic. He had a reading age of 5 and a reasoning age of 14. My wife organised it that he had a specialised teacher meaning he was late for school by one hour on one day a week. When he went up to the middle school the head teacher say she didn’t believe in dyslexia (in her view my son was thick) and that she would not allow his tuition to continue. I told this stupid head teacher (sadly Trump is not alone!) that she would have no further input in my child’s education.

My thick child has two master’s degrees, one from Oxford and the other from Imperial College. You have to wonder how some people get into key positions yet are so ignorant!

I had a friend who was a head teacher forty or so years ago and she said to me that there was no such thing as dyslexia. I really respected her views on other things so, in retrospect I wish I’d questioned her on it. When I was at primary school in the 1950’s in our last year we were split into two classes, those of us that were capable of going to grammar school and another class of virtually forgotten children. Looking back I wonder how many of them were dyslexic.

Trump next move is to poke his NATO allies due to them not pandering to his mad Iran scheme , surely Ameica can’t pretend to sleep through this much longer

Well another failed flawed go at Trump , imagine having to take a bullet for the idiot , he’ll now use this for political pity , he did say the guy was a nut …. I thought for a sec he was looking in the mirror , apparently the Mrs is very upset and was worried about this happening , she’s worried their missing him and hitting her …

It’s not entirely beyond the realms of possibility that the episode was staged to boost his abysmally-low ratings.
