Iroko entered – hilarious.
Betfair Exchange had altered his ante post odds to “1,” thus presumably exonerating layers of liability and returning funds held in escrow.
Scenes!

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 16, 2024 at 14:43 #1677546He is entered in the Arkle as well but not in the Brown Advisory.
January 27, 2024 at 12:56 #1678700Cashed in Iroko (been injured) and Facile Vega (may stay 2m), and added Ginnys Destiny 9-1 who did well there.
February 3, 2024 at 20:33 #16796792nd bet here is American Mike 33-1 ew. I think he’ll outrun his odds tomorrow, on better ground and with the yard in better form than they were at Christmas.
February 4, 2024 at 13:16 #1679800Fact To File may well come here now.
February 4, 2024 at 13:41 #1679821Gaelic warrior has people so far off the cliff they’ve almost splatted into the rocks
Surely he’s injured himself there
brushed through the top of one, landed a but awkward then never went a yard afterwards
February 4, 2024 at 13:44 #1679824Gaelic may well be the new Douvan … A what if
February 4, 2024 at 14:04 #1679833Fact To File jumps fences with an economy of effort, I think.

Feels a tad insulting to douvan that comparison
February 5, 2024 at 05:18 #1679999Your prob right F F but did Douvan really achieve what we thought he would …
February 5, 2024 at 05:49 #1680000Won his first 13 starts in britain and Ireland most of them on the bridle including 8 grade 1s
Then got injured and wasn’t the same again
Gaelic warrior is just a lunatic
February 10, 2024 at 14:10 #1680676A massive shift in the price of Il est Francais for this since last night on oddschecker.
16’s into 5/2!? What’s going on?
Are they going to run him after all?
February 10, 2024 at 14:47 #1680688Might be coz some bookies have gone NRNB.
February 14, 2024 at 17:46 #1681079As this is Iroko’s only entry now, and with Corbett’s Cross’s only entry in the National Hunt Chase, one may think that Fact To File will run in the Browns Advisory now.
February 18, 2024 at 06:13 #1681546How the hell is Iroko a best price of 7-1 for this?
Okay, he has the all-important Festival form and was impressive on his chase debut. But that was back in November and he has suffered an injury since then.
One chase run, albeit an impressive one, and returning from a layoff- you’d have to be bonkers to take that price. Paddy Power are only 4s- absolutely mad.
February 18, 2024 at 08:50 #1681554Agree Iroko is short but not crazily so. I would not want to be laying much bigger.
Looking at the horses above him in the betting, you have to think at least one and possibly two are running elsewhere. Gaelic Warrior has questions to answer and Ginny’s Destiny has been winning handicaps (admittedly so had the same trainer’s Stage Star last year).
Kilbeg King, a well beaten third behind Iroko, ran well in the Reynoldstown yesterday.
If Iroko turns up here (which might still be a big “if”) he is a real player. What is going to travel better than him?

The horse who is a grade 2 winner over 2 miles but bred for 3- Imagine. Now with a very capable trainer based a lot closer to Cheltenham so he got his journey done a couple of weeks ago, targeted here instead of tiddling with handicaps. I’m on at 50s ew and went again at 40s.
