“The Supreme result suggests that Irish novices are inferior this year”

Some of them are going up in trip though so we’ll see.

It’s a guessing game, the 2 mile novice at Drf was run at pace on really bad ground and may just have bottomed out talk the talk.

We will see tomorrow but it cud be the Irish novices are inferior or the ones that ran in that race are done for the season.

Talk the Talk was on the back foot from the get-go and his jumping didn’t help.

Not sure i’d use it literally.

Had mentioned Bossman Jack earlier on here, ridiculous price now.

Fancied Sober for this but not so much now with Patrick onboard.

Nicholls stable star usually gets beaten in this and I’m not quite sure this fav is as good as he thinks he is.

    Sober – 7/1
    Act Of Innocence – 6/1 w/o fav

Small nibble on Hurricane Pat at 50’s
Was highly thought of until getting smashed by Old Park Star. step up in trip could help or hinder but 50’s look a bit big

I’m in the Sober camp , it’s not a race I’m hugely opinionated on but he seems to be the one the hard fancy , I fancy this is Patricks winner …

I hope the favourite hacks up, but I’ll have a small wager on Lauret D’Estruval at a big price.

    My ews

Sortudo- right age, good jockey, bit of class
Saint Baco- scoped badly after the Lawlors. He’s better than that
Free Spirit- I like his attitude. Mark Walsh might suit him

Well done winners and well done to Paul for picking the right horse.
I backed him as well…… in the Leopardstown G1.

Agree HDLG. Did he think he was riding Pegasus?

I wonder if McManus is having second thoughts?
