Another Minella Study here at 6s
March 13, 2026 at 13:19 #1759369Selma ran a cracker behind Narciso Has… if she can kick on from that should be right in with a chance. maybe inexperience and a big field could be the negative

March 13, 2026 at 13:28 #1759372Well, the usual 50/1 shot coming up big. Just forget all the Triumph Trials, there is nothing you can do about unexposed types.
March 13, 2026 at 13:29 #1759374Following the rule change this year to stop horses not having had a run before from running, will they now add a further rule that horses can only run in this race if they have run in UK & Ireland?
March 13, 2026 at 13:29 #1759375Note for self on the Triumph … Just watch it

March 13, 2026 at 13:30 #1759376Six Grade 1s and counting.
The ground can’t be that much of a problem.

The Poniros rule with the Apolon de Charnie amendment.
Well done golden boy

Only if it concerns the JP owned horses. Otherwise it’s perfect and I think this year they had the best ground you could ask for.
March 13, 2026 at 13:34 #1759381That’s a shocker from Townend. Far too wide around the bends and then let Skelton out hustle him up the straight. I bet Selma beats the winner easy at Punchestown. I’m fuming.
March 13, 2026 at 13:35 #1759383I agree Ruby. There hasn’t been many horses getting injured on the flat this year either.
March 13, 2026 at 13:36 #1759384She was last at the start GM23 and pulled all the way. Inexperience cost her. One to take going forward 100%
I think Mullins only had her a short time aswellGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 13, 2026 at 13:40 #1759389Nathan. He had no need to have her so wide. She’s run further than any other horse in the race. He also let Skelton squeeze him out coming up the home straight.
Ballyburn was just hard luck. This time it was a poor ride.March 13, 2026 at 13:42 #1759392Maybe they were wide by design, keep away from others but yes Paul should have anticipated what was going to happen way before it did with Skelton

March 13, 2026 at 14:02 #1759405Let’s be realistic I imagine the Triumph is left low on Mullins list to win , he’s thrown 9 at it , he’s not going to ruin a good horse in to , I doubt they had any idea which of the 9 will win

It wasn’t great. He seems preoccupied about getting the inside rail but got done by Skelton again.
Not convinced his ride in the County was his finest hour either. He rode it like he had a ton in hand, like State Man did. But he didn’t.
