He also mentioned in the same interview, how he had expected Lossiemouth not to have a hard race today….which surely hints at WPM thinking she’d have had GM covered….

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 5, 2023 at 12:13 #1633985Think she can turn the tables, but I’d expected her to win this easily and, troubled passage or not, I can’t be as confident as I was.
I’ve got 4/1 and I don’t think she deserves to be that much shorter now.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"February 22, 2023 at 21:27 #1636609Zenta, a French filly owned by JP, is one of two entries for Willie Mullins in the Norman Colfer on Saturday, the race that Burning Victory won. She’s 66-1 nrnb for the Triumph with Ladbrokes/Coral (I don’t have an account with them so settled for Paddys 40s ew nrnb).
I thought it might be a decent bet as if she wins convincingly without having a hard race (and everything else is running for a Boodles mark so probably won’t taste the whip too much) she could well go to Cheltenham; if not then she’ll likely stay at home leaving Comfort Zone as JP’s Triumph horse and you get your money back.
February 25, 2023 at 13:56 #1636993There is no point in Britain even having a runner in the Triumph Hurdle.

Oh wait…
February 25, 2023 at 14:04 #1636995Don’t even speak to me about Norton’s Coin, Gladders – couldn’t win a Maiden Hunters’ Chase when I needed it to to go through the card at the “Grauniad,” then goes on to win a Cheltenham Gold Cup!

February 25, 2023 at 14:32 #1637000The jumping was brutal kris, blood destiny would be my idea of the winner, very short
Townend will have a tough choice to make
March 8, 2023 at 02:55 #1638139I’ve decided to have a couple of quid on Rare Middleton on the grounds I think the form of his most recent run against the likes of Perseus way and nusret could be a solid yardstick.
He’s entered to run at sandown Saturday so probably won’t even run in this but if he doesn’t (or does and wins well) the 50’s could prove to be very tasty.

March 8, 2023 at 14:16 #1638168I was referring to rare Middleton potentially running at the weekend and entered in the triumph Jack.
Nusret had everything go his way at
Kempton and Perseus way/rare Middleton had a nightmare with the faller in front of them. Rare Middleton got his back legs tangled up with the faller. Travelled very sweetly prior to that though.March 8, 2023 at 22:31 #1638212“Yes Jack I believe so”
Sorry Jack, I was wrong on that one
March 16, 2023 at 10:49 #1639783Townend on Lossiemouth is a nice shot in the arm for her chances. The weight concession should see her home if he keeps her out of trouble

March 17, 2023 at 07:26 #1640074I hope Lossiemouth wins today. My antepost bets could do with a change of luck after yesterday!
March 17, 2023 at 07:38 #1640077Lossiemouth is a girl horse who is grey and carries pink silks, so now that Honeysuckle has retired (to have babies! – news that was received with delight and round eyes in the grass household) I suspect my eldest daughter will have a new favourite to cheer on.
I’ll just stick with my antepost on Zenta. I’d love Gala Marceau to do it, but she’s too hot for her own good. Danny Mullins gets all the speed demons to ride. Blood Destiny looks good for the future, might turn out the best over time.
March 17, 2023 at 08:54 #1640089Zenta at 12s, for me.
