Hi everybody
Over the next three months, I will be in the unenviable position of having to sit around my house for hours getting stoned, walking my dog through glorious countryside, learning how to garden, cook delicious vegan dishes and doing as many press ups as I want, whenever I choose. All this without having to go to work for the man:(
This means that I’ll probably end up being a pretty regular poster in these halls which means there will be pointless threads aplenty.
To get the ball rolling, I have decided to create an apathy list. It’s all fair and good ranting about ranting about people we hate (Adolf Hitler, Robert Kilroy Silk, Robert Mugabe, George Bush) and adoring those we love (Nelson Mandela, Ghandi, Mother Teresa, Ian Davies) but what of those that nobody cares less about either way? They need attention too!
So I’m going to start and sometimes add to a list of people who I don’t have an opinion on. To give it a TRF twist, if anybody gets put onto the apathy list that shouldn’t be there then us good users get to hyperanalyse these people and try to convince one another that the person in question should be loved or hated.

May 21, 2005 at 16:12 #91643Hi Zome
Sorry for not using you on my love list examples – honestly, it just slipped my mind.
I sometimes wish that I wouldn’t let myself post threads after smoking happy herbs but I guess I’ve made my bed and I have to sleep in it.

Surely Ian, what part of that sentance did you have to edit? I’m sure this edit thingy is just a cute gimmick

May 23, 2005 at 19:32 #91648People from history that I don’t give a monkey’s about, either way,
Adolf Hitler
Joe Stalin
The Black Prince
Oliver Cromwell
Victoria and Albert
Ghengis Khan
Julius Ceasar
Rommel
Montgomery
Henry VIII
The Late Queen Mother
William of Orange
Ivan IV (the terrible)
All of the American Presidents
William the Conquerer
Napoleon Bonapart
Vivaldi
I’m sure they are all indifferent towards me also ..
People who I am indifferent to who may be alive ..
Everyone who I haven’t spoken to in real life or on the net.
I can only think of 3 people who I dislike and no-one that I hate. I personally like most folk, but like to keep a respectful distance, in case they get to know me, well. Because I wouldn’t be able to cope with the rejection.

May 24, 2005 at 13:13 #91654Alternatively though Ian you could end up doing the Classic 60’s adds which appear all over the place with that bloke from Manfred Mann going "ooo that takes me back" :(

By the way, it’s ”subject to evolution,” not ”subjected.”
Surely ,Ian , that is a matter of interpretation.
In that respect it was a new contribution. perhaps your a little slow on the up take.
May 24, 2005 at 15:04 #91661Wrong again Ian. What i speak is not correct "Nixer." If i were to speak full on "Nixer" there is not much chance that you would be able to understand the intrecacies of such a expressive and developed language.
You struggle enough with the concepts I express without making you bumble your way through "Nixer".
