Fantastic tipping today Trip, well done, there’s hope for you yet, lol.

My Son bagged the telly today so I popped off up to Ladbrokes to watch the racing. I had 3 quid in loose change on me so put it on Cry Of Freedom to win. He finished 2nd so I screws the betting slip up and lob it straight in the bin which was a good 10 yards away. Moments later the voice over says money back special on Cry Of Freedom because he was beaten a length. 3 quid is 3 quid so I goes over to the bin and the bloody thing is full so I’m ruffling through all these slips and chewing gum and other things for about 5 minutes then I finally come across it, so Walk up to the counter only to be told the offer is a minimum of £5…….my smilies aint working for some reason but the embarrassed one goes here.

I’m out tomorrow evening and have a hospital appointment Monday so if anyone wants to do the scoring this weekend they have my blessing, if not I’ll do it Tuesday.

:D Thanks guys..it’s a good feeling to have a few winners under my belt at last.

It was actually Tom Segal on The Morning Line this morning who gave me some inspiration to carry on when Nick Luck asked him how he coped with a long losing streak and he answered that it was hard but you had to just not change the way you pick your horses and carry on. That’s what I did today so thanks Tom

Nathan: You’re going to have to ditch Laddies and pop round to Paddy Powers in future, when they offer money back on all losers it really means anything from 10p to £50.00 and the nice lady behind the counter would probably have even lent you a pair of pink Marigolds to go rummaging for your lost ticket

Ginge: I always think the couple of weeks before the Festival are the hardest of all to pick winners, most of mine were on the flat today (that’s where I feel most at home).
Thanks for your thumbs up and encouragement today much appreciated..Jac :)

    3.15 NEWBURY[/color:2isbuzef]

    or

    7/2 generally[/color:2isbuzef]

    2.55 DONCASTER[/color:2isbuzef]

    JOIN TOGETHER[/color:2isbuzef]

    9/2 Boylesport, William Hill, Betvictor[/color:2isbuzef]

    3.30 DONCASTER[/color:2isbuzef]

    LORD WISHES[/color:2isbuzef]

    6/1 generally[/color:2isbuzef]

    or

    AAIM TO PROSPER[/color:2isbuzef]

    9/4 generally[/color:2isbuzef]

To help you out with the scoring Nathan  I had 9 selections so that’s means I’m -9 points[/color:2isbuzef]
    before finding a winner.

    BUCK’S MAGIC [/color:2isbuzef] won and I requested a price of 7/1 [/color:2isbuzef] (worst than SP :( )
which meant I got 8 points back (7 points from the winnings plus my stake[/color:2isbuzef] this puts me at -1 point[/color:2isbuzef].

Then I had AAIM TO PROSPER[/color:2isbuzef] which I requested a price of 9/4 (better than SP :) )
(This won me 3.25 points which is 2.25 points for the win and my stake back, of course) [/color:2isbuzef]

SO MY OVERALL TOTAL FOR SATURDAY[/color:2isbuzef] is a PROFIT OF 2.25 POINTS[/color:2isbuzef] :D
