TRF Quiz Night & Daylight Cup Last 16 Draw – Wednesday 14th April 2010
Start Time – 8pm’ish
We are pleased to announce that the draw for the ‘Last 16 Knockout Round’ of this year’s Daylight Cup will be accompanied by a ‘Racing/TRF Quiz Night’. So, we hope to see as many of you as possible testing your Racing knowledge on Wednesday at 8pm’ish in the ‘Chatroom’. Even if you don’t take part in the quiz all are welcome to drop in for a chat, if you’ve never been in the ‘Chatroom’ and wonder how it works please see below.
The draw for the Last 16 Knockout Round of The Daylight Cup will be conducted by Ken (West Derby). Ken has always been a keen supporter of the Cup so I am delighted he has taken the time to conduct this week’s draw. We are also pleased to announce that both Rory (Timeform Radio’s Form & Betting Expert) & AP Racing (Owner, Professional Gambler & Author) have both kindly agreed to conduct one the draws for the Quarters and Semis – subject to any future commitments, in which case Drone (TRF Sage and Joint TRF Poster of the Year 2009) has kindly agreed to step in as substitute.
Many thanks to both Nafsasp and jinnyj who have offered to provide the questions for the quizzes accompanying the Daylight Cup draws. The questions for this week’s quiz will be provided by Nafsasp and hopefully we can use jinnyj’s next time.
Finally, as always many thanks to Bob Rolf for providing the scores for the Daylight Cup – great stuff Bob. For the latest results in the Daylight Cup please see Bob’s 4PP Section.

KenApril 13, 2010 at 07:34 #290011Ken I’m actually off work at the moment with another attack of gout
so no gallops for me. although it does give me a bit of extra time to study.

April 13, 2010 at 08:06 #290015Sorry to hear about your current ailment Nathan. Isn’t that caused as a result of living the high life? I seem to recall from school history days mention of gout as a condition of the upper classes due to excesses of fine wine and food. Anyway, here’s hoping on a speedy recovery for you.
Ken
Footnote(no pun intended): Due to this shocking news, Nathan’s odds have drifted like a barge and are now a massive 200/1.
My gallops watcher has been sacked for wrongly identifying Merve the Swerve though the latter’s odds remain unchanged because he’s renowned for being lazy in his work.April 13, 2010 at 18:10 #290102Cup Competition 2010,
Will tomorrow’s quiz include any easy questions for the less knowledgeable members, such as myself please?April 14, 2010 at 07:52 #290207Yes Ken, hopefully should be a good cross-section of questions on horseracing. There will also be a few questions on TRF as well.
