Vote here for your TRF Poster of the Year 2011
December 16, 2011 at 12:45 #382860This forum has got plenty of enjoyable poster and a must read for myself on a daily basis as the knowledge and banter on here is second to none.
If there was a young poster of the year award it would be a close call between thehorsesmouth who only 20 years young has shown plenty of discipline and knowledge of the game in his betting threads of someone with greater experience. The Young Fella is another in his youth who has already won bob’s comp and this years Cheltenham comp which takes some doing considering the opposition.
Kingfishers is one hell of a solider, there is no knocking him down, he’s relentless his thread might be in the red but I have every confidence he can turn it around. A REAL good laugh aswell, should be on the tv as a comedian.
Gingers a class act, Hurdygurdyman a good new addition, feels like I’ve been reading his post for years. Last years winner Bob along with Cormack have provided us with some great competitions and some very nice prizes. Mr Pilsen has had a tough few weeks, nominated in the villain category, words with Cormack about words, a hate campaign from Mr Wilson and something about trackie bottoms but I like and view him as a much, much, much older brother on here…….
My vote went to Billion for his services to ward 7(system section) will put himself out to reply to all newcomers to the systems and has improved his own game a lot this year, takes in alot of good information from the likes of MrE, Elcartero, Formath, Pompete and others and brings his own ideas to the table. Also Billion is a fantastic punch bag, we give him so much stick and he keeps coming back for more. Not bad for a member of 107 years old.
Vote Billlion………….
Blackbeard to conquer the World
December 16, 2011 at 19:41 #382890On this day, we reach back to hallowed antiquity, to bring you a recreation of the second fall of the mighty Carthage!… On the barren plain of Zama, there stood the invincible armies of the barbarian Hannibal. Ferocious mercenaires and warriors from all brute nations, bent on merciless destruction, conquest. Your emperor is pleased to give you the barbarian horde!
[Crowd cheers… Go on RAZ ]

the pipes hit their highest notes
as the Colloseum filled with music
and the one they called the Spaniard
walked slowly and confidently
into the hallowed space of martyrdom
looking not left or right
to face the emperor
and an uncertain destin eenThe crowd cheered and the music grew louder

Razeenus… " My name is Gladhater "
Marcus Cormacus… " I order you to remove …

Razeenus…" No emperor, I have won the crowd,

December 18, 2011 at 10:58 #383120Messrs Putin and Mugabe look on in awe as the hordes of carpetbagging Guests from without these walls clamber in Where Eagles Dare-style and rig the votes
Recent posts from that familiar subscriber Anonymous should have been a warning Cormack: your defences are down
As Drone I voted for my nominee
Eclipse First
As Guest I could have voted for any or all others but settled for just giving the immaculately attired

December 18, 2011 at 11:12 #383121Given the curious voting system, I think to be nominated is an achievement or infamy, depending upon your views. One suspects there is more skullduggery involved than takes place on any racecourse.
December 18, 2011 at 12:04 #383124Given the curious voting system,
14000 Soldier Ants
marching off to war,
one eye on the title
one eye on the score,Ginger

Value Is EverythingDecember 18, 2011 at 15:58 #383148Ginger,in my opinion this being a horseracing forum the winner of ‘Poster of the year’ should be knowledgeable in many aspects of the sport from Courses,Horses,Betting,Handicapping (you can be forgiven Brampour) to tissues, percentages and most importantly imo running a profitable thread. You dear boy cover all those bases and with the most incredible humility (Eclipse,is that one in the right place?).Your percentages certainly takes things to another level and to your credit you are consistent and persistent with your posts,if there’s one vote on here you should be guaranteed of its your right hand man Reet hard. Good luck and by the way i’ve forgiven you for ****** up my chances of winning last years poll, you Ginger **** Pig!

Raz was just a regular forumite, not sure why Gamble is trying to make him out as someone special.
I seem to remember that Raz wasn’t even a fan of Gamble
