Correct Steve. Although not quite an island you do have to go over the river to get to the course. Locals usually say "Are you going over the island today lads"

Which horse finished runner up to that year’s Derby winner on his second start and went on to be pulled up in his 62nd and final race in a handicap hurdle at Warwick?

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

    Here is the crucial clue.

When this horse opened his winning account a certain Miss C Balding was on board!

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

    ‘I don’t know it’ was a horse I created on G1 Jockey 4, homer.
He finished 2nd to that years Derby winner and pulled up on his 62nd start but that was at Boulogne not Warwick but worth a guess incase Steve put Warwick by mistake……

With Steve on holiday. I’ve took it upon myself to set an easy question to get the ball back onto the pitch.

    Here we go.

In Lego the movie what is the name of this guy?

The answer to Steve’s question is NORQUAY who finished second to Kahyasi the 1988 Derby winner on his second outing.

He won a handicap hurdle at Catterick on his 61st outing but was put down after being pulled up in the Warwick race.

Not a clue about the answer to Nathan’s question though!

nice to see that again
    and strangely half the
Harry’s are lost for ever –
    they didn’t think to keep
    things in those days.
    This forum tends to keep
    mostly everything luckily
although quite a lot of me is lost

Has everyone noticed that a lot
    of people called Harry tend
    to be quite funny !

    Mick Channon?

No, but I guessed somebody might guess him.

Actually his family have been more involved in his local cricket team at West Ilsley. Back in my Berkshire League cricketing days I remember Mike Channon Junior turning up for them, telling us he hadn’t played for a good while, then thrashing our bowling to all corners!

… and it’s not Harry Worth either!
