I watch bit of Basher Watts , his videos are good and he has some syndicate winners.
What i was surprised by was costs in UK , 1 pc 45 per month , 1 per cent of Chris Waller trained horse in Sydney racing for way way more money is about 28 per month all in . Iam sure the guy training Bashers is good but he aint no Chris Waller . Fees seem well out ofvwhack to prizemoney in UK . Its doing well to survive .February 14, 2026 at 04:58 #1754551Rip-Off Britain.
February 14, 2026 at 09:00 #1754566Syndicate horses can be very expensive, Go to the Old Gold website and it will give you a breakdown on each horse. Multiply that by the number of shares.
I know Newland and Insole charge £69 a day, expenses on top. £30,000 a year is about the average it costs to have a horse in training
February 14, 2026 at 11:13 #1754590That 45 per 100th converts out to 8600 AUD per month for 100 PC , crikey , that would make Crocodile Dundee’s knees buckle .
I take my hat off to UK owners , that’s dedication !!!February 14, 2026 at 11:23 #1754593I had a fair amount of horses with middlem park initial outlay depended on what the bought them for and add on’s
But my 5% shares on each horse was just over £200 per month
I believe they go down to 2.5% as well
Really enjoyable with them
