Layers particularly will be interested in this hurdle race today.Bauhaus and No Regrets both trading around 6/4. Bauhaus has the best form (58) and also best recent (48) , however trainer Phillips and jockey Marston’s current form with bet runners does not look good. Conversly, Henderson and his runners both do well when bet (33%) and (67%) respectively. If you’re a stats follower then Lay Bauhaus If you’re a form follower then Lay No Regrest.
Not very helpful ; but the advice today is that this race is best left to watch.
_____________________________
September 24, 2007 at 18:36 #116237BEVERLEY’S TOP TRAINERS (5seasons) How do they perform when their runners are strongly bet. Here are their results (all runs) last 2 weeks (up to 23/9/07).
Note Brian Smart has had 24 runners in this 2 week period with 2 strongly bet and having both won: Returns therefore 100%. Also, all wins regardless of odds have shown 3 wins and 1 runner being placed.Last2Weeks– Str’Bet— Won ~~~ All,Wins– All,Places

4.50pm Bobby’s Pride in the 16 runner race just qualifies at present as "strongly bet" with a tissue of 5/1. Fahy is the Trainer whoes record currently is 45%.

However, these Trainer’s runners are unlikely to figure amongst the strongly bet brigade tomorrow. Slight down the list in 4th place Cumani also has a very good record having 8 strongly bet in the last 14 days with 5 winners (63%).
Bankable runs for Cumani in the 4.20 and is a definite for the strongly bet brigade in this race with tissue odds of 9/2. It should also be noted that Dettori has todate this season had 8 mounts for Cumani without a win ! This race is a 20 runner handicap so an EW looks an option.

Note from yesterday’s list that there is considerable shuffling in the ranking order. The previous 2 weeks included races
up to and including 27th Sept will show some Trainers having more runners, others with less than yesterday’s list.
The update shows Jamie Osborne and Andrew Balding moving up in rank with (58%) & (50%) respectively.
The top 4 Trainers remain the same, although with Bankable winning earlier (Fri) Cumani will have improved to
(66%) as a consequence of that win. It’s worth commenting upon a couple of disappointments: Mark Johnson has had 70 runners in the previous
2 weeks with 19 strongly bet resulting in 5 wins from this group. The (26%) return on these bet runners is
quite poor. Likewise, Willie Muir is returning disappoiting %s. Last season this Trainer was regularly having
tremendous %s and leading many list with his strongly bet runners. What has happened to this stable ?Saturday Ascot 15.40 DOCOFTHEBAY (tissue 13/1) is classed as one of the strongly bet in this multi runner handicap.
Jamie Osborne’s form (58%) needs to hold up but the odds are attractive and providing this runner can handle
the expected soft conditions then an EW could prove profitable.

20 Scarlet Runner 22 J L DUNLOP ( 34 )-( 12 )-( 2 )-( 17 %) ~~ ( 3 )-( 9 )The first of the Tv races throws up Karl Burke and his runner Akarem to consider. Burke has a good record at present with strongly bet runners returning (50%). Akarem has struggled in his last 3 runs and without market confidence, this one is today best watched. A very open looking race here.
As can be seen above; Elsworth has a good record at present with strongly bet runners (67%). However, it is asking just too much to expect his runner to land the odds in the 3.45pm. Classic Punch is currently trading around 30/1 ! Best watched me thinks.
In the 4.20pm Cumani’s Balthazaar’s Gift is the obvious choice. However, although this Trainer is in brilliant form (63%) the odds of 5/2 in a 17 runner event like this is just too cramped.
So there you have it today – no bets recommended.

M WELLINGS ( 1 )-( 0 )-( 0 )-( 0 %) ~~ ( 0 )-( 0 )There are some big guns out today at Bath, not least that Spencer is here chasing the Jockeys
championship. The Trainer stats look to back up most of these mounts. Meehan, Pipe & Cumani
all have strong claims with Spencer aboard; However, the odds will be cramped out of proportion to the win chance I reckon.Perhaps more attractive today is the 4.10 FEOLIN trained by MORRISON (25%) Tissue 12/1. Other fancied runners do not have the Trainer stats to back em up.
In th 4.40 CERULEAN ROSE trained by CARROLL (50%) looks attractive in this apprentice
race. Mark Coumbe won this race last year and providing this hold up runner can find a route
looks fair value. Tissue 11/2.
