    A list of 400 horses?!!

Lets hope whoever takes over the Tote has the will to restore the TTF to its former glory where the number of horses that you can include in your list isn’t getting more and more limited (presumably to make their admin more easy to manage)

I had two goes at the competition a few years back. One entry was ‘carefully thought out’ and the other used random numbers. When the random number selection performed best I guessed it was time to give up entering!

The "No Guaranteed Pool" is a more worrying development.

its come along way from being in the Pacemaker mag.
if i remember it was £3 to enter.
always enter but have to admit the last few years its become a lottery.
i remember when unraced 2yo where are the list and you really had to study for your selections.
now its to easy to enter but so much harder to win.
the appeal was getting your name in the racing post when on the updated list.
best i ever got was joint second with around another 80 odd people on the Ascot festival a few years ago.
will enter again but only a couple of entries.
agree with Grasshopper no guaranteed pool is a worry.

The ‘No guaranteed pool’ is a part of selling it off, can’t have the share holders out of pocket can we? .. even if it is only potentially.
