I may look as if I’ve up anchored and left you all in the dark, well maybe a tad,
but I’ve been in hospital under the knife for a week, got out last Friday but I’m
    far from back to normal.

Our good friend SamD (Money For Nothing) knew I might be ailing a bit and has very
graciously printed up the placings and further information and sent them to me on
a PM. You are a gentleman Sam and thanks for the help. I’ll paste it below :good: ………..

Transfer window is open for up to two changes from 11am this Wednesday 14 August to 11am 21 August to coincide with start of York Ebor meeting. Please note that Passenger, the fourth most popular pick in the competition, is out for the season after sustaining an injury.

    Money For Nothing, 407.38
    Neil’s Flat Out (24), 345.34
    Inthestream, 336.33

    Aidan and a betting, 299.95
    Dark Angels, 284.22
    Numpty Plays The Flat, 270.45
    Michael Walsh, 269.27
    Edantony, 258.25
    FF91, 257.57
    Man Superstars, 239.27
    Bourne Losers, 201.98
The Hunters of Witches and Triptych’s, 196.37

    Tó Madeira, 174.74
    Threenaps1, 150.93
    onthebridle, 133.21
    Pointsofclass, 104.55
    ………………………………………………

Me again, the next few weeks will be a bit rough, I’ll manage (I hope)
to post the league placings but not up to a lot of studying at the
moment. Things, can only get better (apparantly  )

    Keep well all :good:

This morning I messaged the Tote to ask when Economics points would be updated. I received an AI generated reply telling me “its done as soon as the tote returns are shown in the racing post”. Hmm.

Maybe it will get done today.

Thank goodness for the transfer window, Unfortunately Passenger will have to be replaced,I hope he recovers and races again next year.

I will also, to use the Tiptree saying, be giving the “Spanish Archer” to Dancing Gemini, not sure who I will bring in yet as replacements.

    Hope you recover swiftly BigG.

Thanks John, I guess it’s just the non Irish and English races that do not update automatically.

Again I have to thank my good friend Sam D for printing out the
league positions. I know I’m not quite seeing through my responsibilities
as I have done in the past but things are not going too well with my leg,
I have an infection in it and and I’m not quite up to doing a rundown on
the top 10. Sam has kept the ball rolling whilst I’m still trying to get
myself back to full health. You’re a godsend Sam :good: ………

Hope the leg is improving Graham. Can’t be easy with limited mobility & if it’s getting infected too. Still, on the positive side it could be worse …. if you were a horse 🫣 !!

I hope you are all hanging in there. I’m back on the antibiotics
again but I’ll put in a cut down list of who has moved in the League.

Fortunately from my perspective I’ve hit on a good week in as far
as there is no movement from 30th August. So with less that 5 weeks
to go there are still many in with a shout with Major meetings,
Doncaster, Newmarket and the Champions meeting at Ascot bringing
it all to an end on 19 October. Very best of luck to all those
still in with every chance. Money For Nothing leads the way and
has been consistant so he could be hard to catch. Who knows

Good luck there Neil, you’re still very much in the hunt. One or two
of these big races is going to make a big difference :good:
