    Thanks a lot for posting this Steve. His injury sounded frightful but despite that Tom is still smiling through his injuries, wow they breed them tough up north! I hope his recovery continues without complications and he returns to the racecourse again soon.

    He is very optimistic and seems to acknowledge how very very lucky everything was in place, mobile, wife to save him.

    I just wonder if he is too optimistic surely with the injuries he has sustained he can’t hope to do some of the things he planned but he did acknowledge he worked too hard.

    Tom was interviewed on RUK today as he was having a day out at York races

    He’s still wearing a body brace but he seemed in good spirits

    Making progress slowly…..

    I miss old Tom on RUK
